102 Dalmatians, a review by DragonfireGet ready for outrageous fun in Disney's 102 DalmatiansMy Thoughts This is an entertaining movie, though it wasn't as good as 101 Dalmatians (1996). Glenn Close was still great as Cruella, but too many things seemed to resort to silliness..excessive silliness. It also seemed a bit odd to me that Roger and Anita weren't around or even mentioned, yet one of the puppies was back as an adult dog with a new owner. Waddlesworth was cute with how he thought he was a dog. This was a decent family movie, though the fact that Cruella wanted to make a coat out of puppies again could be upsetting to younger children. Cruella herself might be a bit scary at times to some children as well. (From Dragonfire: What I've Been Watching on December 29th, 2008) The Wedding Ringer, a review by addicted2dvd
Stars: Kevin Hart as Jimmy Callahan/Bic Josh Gad as Doug Harris Affion Crockett as Reggie/Drysdale Kaley Cuoco as Gretchen Palmer Jorge Garcia as Lurch/Garvey Plot: Doug Harris (Josh Gad) is a loveable but socially awkward groom-to-be with a problem: He has no best man. With less than two weeks to go until he marries the girl of his dreams (Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting), Doug is referred to Jimmy Callahan (Kevin Hart), owner and CEO of Best Man, Inc., a company that provides flattering best men for socially challenged guys in need. What ensues is a hilarious wedding charade as they try to pull off the big con and an unexpected budding bromance between Doug and his fake best man, Jimmy. Extras:
My Thoughts: I originally added this one to my collection on the fact that I am a fan of Kaley Cuoco. While this may not be my favorite role for her... I definitely found I enjoyed this one quite a bit. This one isn't exactly what I was expecting going in. But to be fair I knew nothing about it before getting it. I originally expected a romantic comedy... but this is more of a buddy film. More about the groom and the group of guys he hires to be in his wedding party.Over all a fun film... definitely worth the time put in to watch it.
