Extras: Scene Access Feature Trailers Bonus Trailers Gallery DVD-ROM Content Closed Captioned THX My Thoughts: What can I say about Planet of the Apes that was never said before? Probably nothing... so I will just say I enjoyed every minute of it from the start to the surprise ending! The movie runs smoothly, it is one of those movies that the time goes by quickly without even thinking about it. I will say that there may be a little dated feel to it. But definitely not enough to take away from the enjoyment of the movie. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From Movies of the '60s Marathon on April 24th, 2010) The Rocky Horror Picture Show, a review by goodguy
Cover blurb: The Rocky Horror Picture Show is an "erotic nightmare beyond any measure." Relive Richard O'Brien's sinfully twisted salute to horror, sci-fi, B-movies and rock music - a "sensual daydream to treasure forever" - starring Tim Curry (in his classic gender-bending performance), Barry Bostwick, and Oscar winner Susan Sarandon. Do the "Time Warp" and sing "Hot Patootie" with Meat Loaf again...and again...and again. Pull up a slab and let the madness begin! I guess you have to be at one of those whacky screenings to fully enjoy this. The movie is great for the first half hour, after that it rapidly deteriorates. Still, even then it retains a certain silly charme and the occasional catchy song (e.g. Eddie's Teddy) makes sitting through the remaining parts worthwhile. I Fall To Pieces (1999-10-26) Writer: Joss Whedon (Created By), David Greenwalt (Created By), David Greenwalt (Screenwriter), Joss Whedon (Story By), David Greenwalt (Story By) Director: Vern Gillum Cast: David Boreanaz (Angel), Charisma Carpenter (Cordelia Chase), Glenn Quinn (Doyle), Elisabeth Rohm (Kate Lockley), Tushka Bergen (Melissa), Andy Umberger (Dr. Ronald Meltzer), Carlos Carrasco (Dr. Vinpur Narpudan), Brent Sexton (Beat Cop), Garikayi Mutambirwa (Intern), Kent Davis (John), Jan Bartlett (Penny), Patricia Gillum (Woman Patient), Christopher Hart (The Hand) A rather stupid episode. And boring. Rating: (From Tom's Buffy and Angel Marathon on March 16th, 2009) |
