Police Academy 6: City Under Siege, a review by Dragonfire

Police Academy 6: City Under Siege
A crime spree called Operation Chaos is plaguing the city. Time to call out our frontline defense. And when that defense is made up of Police Academy alumni, it's also time to pray!

Bubba Smith, Michael Winslow, David Graf, Marion Ramsey, Leslie Easterbrook, G.W. Bailey, George Gaynes and other returnees strap on laugh-riot gear for Police Academy 6: City Under Siege. A mysterious Mr. Big is the mastermind behind a gang that robs banks and jewelers. Cmdt. Lassard is suspected when it becomes clear that a police department information leak is keeping the bad guys one step ahead. Solving the case won't take a mastermind, just an arsenal of gags and goofiness in the fun Police Academy tradition.

This is one of the weaker movies in the series, though I still managed to enjoy it..a little.  I remember liking it more when I first saw it when it came out.  The plot has some potential, but it ends up being rather weak.  There are some funny moments, but not enough.  Things are predictable and the jokes don't work as well.  The characters aren't developed that much and nothing new is added to the returning characters.

The movie is ok, but far from great.

I did get a review posted on Epinions.

Teen Wolf, a review by addicted2dvd

Teen Wolf
What's a high school kid got to do to be popular? Just let down his hair and howl! Starring Michael J. Fox ('Back to the Future') 'Teen Wolf' is an outrageous comedy about a shy teenager with more than a changing voice to contend with... he's a budding young werewolf! And when his new-found powers help him score at basketball - and with the popular girls - he has some pretty hairy decisions to make.

My Thoughts:
OK... lets face it... Teen Wolf is far from award winning entertainment. But what it is... is good cheesy fun. Something to watch when you just want to sit back and enjoy. It is a real twist on the coming of age story. I think the whole werewolf idea is why I enjoy it so much... I definitely enjoy the monster movies... whether you can classify them as horror or not.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

HawthoRNe: Season 1 Ep. 2: Healing Time, a review by addicted2dvd

HawthoRNe: Season 1 Ep. 2

HEALING TIME
A patient with a potentially fatal aneurysm believes Christina is his wife and confesses to having an affair.

Notable Guest Stars:
Malcolm-Jamal Warner (The Cosby Show) as Fred
Cloris Leachman (The Mary Tyler Moore Show) as Mrs. Lachman

My Thoughts:
I enjoyed this one quite a bit as well. Good medical cases... good side storylines. I liked the character Cloris Leachman played. It is a shame they weren't able to get her for more then one episode.

My Rating:
