Plot:
Sometimes dead is better. But the shocking terror that plagued Ludlow, Maine in Pet Sematary is still very much alive in this heart-stopping sequel to the 1989 hit film written by Stephen King.

After the death of his wife, veterinarian Chase Matthews (Anthony Edwards, TV's "ER") and hsi 13-year-old son Jeff (Edward Furlong, "Terminator 2: Judgement Day") move to Ludow to rebuild their lives. Antagonized by the neighborhood kids, Jeff befriends another outsider, Drew Gilbert, who lives in fear of his cruel stephfather Gus (Clancy Brown, "Highlander"). After Gus cold-bloodely shoots Drew's beloved dog, the boys bury the body in the local Indian burial grounds - a place rumored to have powers of resurrection. When evil is awakened, the boys realize that sometimes you should just let dead dogs lie.

My Thoughts:
I enjoyed this movie... but not nearly as much as the first one. I would say... that in my opinion this one is just an average horror movie. Worth the time putting into it... but not something I would recommend seeking out. Maybe grab it if you find it in a bargain bin type thing. I did like that this one has Anthony Edwards... who I used to watch all the time on the TV Series ER.

Plot:
You might have a love story to tell?

Maybe not! How can an ordinary man have a breathtaking, goose flesh igniting, awe inspiring love story of all things to tell?

But guess what - love does not differentiate between the ordinary and exceptional, the uninteresting and interesting, the unattractive and attractive. Because love knows no distinction. It can happen to anyone and once it does it engulfs us into it completely and gives us those miraculous experiences that only love can yield.

This is what happened to Surinder Sahni (Shahrukh Khan) - a simple, clean hearted, honest man working for Punjab Power, leading a humdrum life, when he meets his total opposite and finds love in the flamboyant, fun-loving, vivacious - Taani (Anushka Sharma) for whom the whole world is her canvas and she paints her own life with the colours of rainbow all until unforeseen circumstances changes it all and brings them together.

What follows is a journey filled with laughter, tears, joy, pain, music, dance and a lot of love. A journey that makes us believe that there is an extraordinary love story in every ordinary jodi.

I had the urge to watch this movie again. This is slowly becoming one of my favorite movies. Everything just fits in this film. It has a great love story, great music, great choreography and wonderful chemistry between the cast. It is really a feel good movie. It is nice that I can still encounter movies which I can enjoy again and again. As a matter of fact I had to keep myself from watching it again multiple times, because I kept saying to myself, that I have to watch some movies on my unwatched pile instead of the same movie over and over again. As a matter of fact I kicked off another unwatched movie in my Alphabet marathon list, just to be able to watch this one now.

It is another Shah Rukh Khan (star)/ Aditya Chopra (writer/producer/director) collaboration. Those mostly are above average Bollywood movies. This one is no exception. I really enjoyed it. Newcomer Anushka Sharma also was a joy as Taani.
Quiet and meek Surinder takes on the task of disguising himself as the hyper and fun Raj to cheer up his new wife after a tragedy.
Many scenes are reminiscent of superhero movies where Surinder and has alter ego Raj are concerned.

As I said, I really enjoyed the music in this one. There was not a song which I didn't like. Also the score is very fitting.

"Stargate SG-1" Marathon, a review by DJ Doena

Synopsis: For three months Jonas Quinn has been on Earth and in the SGC. Now he is allowed to leave for the first time, SG-1 takes him with them to Area 51, where the X-302 has been completed. After the X-301 disaster the X-302 is completely man-made and with the help of the Naqahdriah it even has an hyperlight drive - the Death Gliders don't have one.
But then Teal'c has to return to Chulak because his wife is dying and his son blames him for that. While he's there someone opens the Stargate to Earth but it doesn't close again.

My Opinion: As predicted, Anubis now turns his attention to Earth but obviously he doesn't dare to trike openly - yet. The X-302 has its charme because she really looks like a mixture of stealth bomber and Death Glider. I also like Jack's question if it has Phasers when Sam enumerated all the features.

Synopsis: A little more than 50 hours until the Stargate overloads and will blow up the state of Colorado and poison the atmosphere. The Stargate can't be disabled and ths SGC has no way to contact the Asgard. But then Jonas has an idea and Bra'tac, Teal'c and Rya'c do their best to save Earth.

My Opinion: A good conclusion to this two-parter, especially because they didn't find a technobabble solution to close the Gate but really had to dispose it. And the second Gate didn't come out of nowhere thus it was no miracle solution. Ironically the now installed Gate is the original one and the blown up one is the Antarctica Gate.
BTW: This was the fourth time a Battlestar Galactica cast member made an appearance: Aaron Douglas (Chief Tyrol in BSG) played of of Anubis's Jaffa.

Synopsis: A Ha'tak has entered orbit around Earth but it doesn't attack. SG-1 - whose most recent addition has been Jonas Quinn - and Jacob/Selmak fly to the ship in a Tel'tak. The ship has been abandoned and it is the same ship in which Thor was held prisoner.

My Opinion: I like Jonas. He has an innocent, curious nature. He hasn't yet seen what SG-1 has seen and one really believes that he wants to become a part of it.
A really good effect was when the ring transporter "beamed" Jonas and the water pillar.

Synopsis: Four years after the Antarctica Gate has been discovered a young woman is found - but she is not Jaffa but instead several million years old. She is one of the Ancients but she looks like a human. That means today's humans are only the second evolution of this form on this planet and that can't be a coincedence.

My Opinion: I don't know why but Ayiana always reminded me of Leeloo from The Fifth Element. We also see that Jonas has the same talent Daniel had when it comes to connecting with other beings. Apart from that the episode wasn't that interesting.
