Synopsis: The AllSpark is a mystical cube which can create life from lifelessness. Many eons ago it got lost, but Megatron - leader of the Decepticons - has found it on a planet called Earth. But he crashes here and freezes into a form of stasis in the arctic. But his arrival did not go unnoticed and many years later the Autobots under the lead of Optimus Prime also arrive on Earth. And now the hunt for the AllSpark begins. The question is whether the Humans can help save their own planet or whether they will be a mere annoyance that stand between the Decepticons and the AllSpark.

My Opinion: Robots that turn into cars, trucks, helicopters and tanks - need I say more? It's a great fun flick whose sequel is about to start in the theatres. I enjoy such harmless movies where I don't want to think and don't need to think from time to time. The only thing that was a bit annoying was the final fight where one often couldn't make out who's currently fighting who.

Merrily We Live, a review by Antares

Merrily We Live (1938) 68/100 - It has its moments, but the inconsistencies in the screenplay keep it from coming even close to classic status. The premise would work with a bit better timing by some of the actors. But it's worth it just to watch Clarence Kolb steal every scene he's in. The scene with the staircase is priceless as I thought for sure it was a stuntman standing in for Kolb. But in this one extended scene when he reaches the bottom of the stairs and turns around and you see its Kolb, you're amazed that a man his age, could pull off such a great bit of physical comedy. I'd only recommend this film for his performance, he shows some of the skills that made him such a successful vaudevillian comedian for close to 40 years, prior to his film career.

Star Trek: Deep Space Nine - Marathon, a review by DJ Doena

Synopsis: While on a holiday trip with his wife, O'Brien is being abducted by the Cardassians. Back on Cardassia he is charged with aiding the Maquis and delivering photon torpedos to them. In the cardassian justice system the verdict is always the same: guilty. The tribunal is just to show why he's guilty.

My Opinion: I liked that episode. Despite the seriousness it was funny to see how O'Brien's "defense attorney" became more and more despaired. Why would his client be so unreasonable? Why doesn't O'Brien simply confess and thus proves the effectiveness of the cardassian justice system? And the face he made when he realized that his client was free to go...

Synopsis: Sisko invites his son to do a science project in the GQ who in turn invites Nog. And Quark is accompanying them as well. But they are caught by the Jem'Hadar, warriors of the Dominion. A message is brought to DS9, declaring their capture and the destruction of several ships as well as the destruction of the bajoran colony in the GQ.

My Opinion: And so it begins. The Dominion in shape of the Vorta and the Jem'Hadar has entered entered the chess board. And although they've only stated that they do not want any more AQ ships in their territory they've also made it clear that they've gathered intel about the races of the AQ. Now the show gets really interesting.

The Season - My Opinion: This season was half'n'half. There were a number of very interesting and great episodes mixed with rather uninteresting ones. I especially liked the character-driven episodes like Armageddon Game, Blood Oath and Crossover. And now let us see the Defiant!
