Blade, a review by addicted2dvd

Blade
Wesley Snipes stars as the tortured soul Blade - half man, half immortal. Blade sharpens his lethal skills under the guidance of Whistler (Kris Kristofferson), his mentor, guardian and fellow hunter of the night. When the bloodthirsty Immortals' lord, Deacon Frost (Stephen Dorff), declares war on the human race, Blade is humanity's last hope for survival.

My Thoughts:
Well... I haven't watched this one in quite a while. I believe this movie was actually the first taste I got of the genres action and horror combined so well. I think Wesley Snipes was a great choice to play Blade. He really looks the part... and has the Martial Arts background for it as well. I really enjoyed this movie. Whether you like Action, horror... or both I would recommend this one.

My Rating:

My Thoughts:
This is the first time I have watched this movie in a very long time. This is only the second time I watched it since I bought it a good 7 years ago. Not because it is a bad movie as I do enjoy it. Though I don't think I enjoy it quite as much as a lot of people. It is a good story but I do find it slow at times. Plus there is the fact that I was never much of a fan of Richard Dreyfuss though I did enjoy him in this more then I do in most movies I have seen with him. Over all... I would definitely recommend this one.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles: The Complete First Season marathon, a review by Achim

Dungeons and Dragons

Yeah, another good episode. Some mysteries were being set up so that there is some suspense to find out what will develop from that. Seeing a T-800 during those flashbacky-forwardsy thingys (just a look-a-like though...) was nice. I thought the future scenes was quite well done and help to develop the "back"story for Derek. ("Dereks don't run.")

I too can hardly wait for Monday so that I can continue (I have a day off Monday, in fact the whole next week, so I just might finish the last disc in one day ;D

No one ;liner stuck in my mind this time ???

I just checked and found that Season 2 is apparently a full-blown one, according to IMDb there's be 22 episodes....for more content  :weep:...for higher price when purchasing the Blu-ray set later this year
