My Thoughts: I remember the first time I saw this movie. Since Spider-Man has been my favorite superhero since I was a kid (I know kind of ironic what with me having a bad case of arachnophobia) it is one of the few movies I bothered to go see at the theater when it was first released. I remember initially being disappointed with his web coming from his wrist instead of the webshooters that he created in the cartoons and such I grew up on. But shortly into the movie I decided that I liked the idea of how the movie does it even better then the way I grew up knowing it to be. I thought the choice of Toby Maguire as Peter Parker/Spider-Man was very good... he did a great job with the role. I have watched this movie many times since I got the dvd... and still enjoy it just as much as I did the first time. Imprisoned and desperate, Romulus's destiny unravels as he discovers a mythical sword holding an ancient prophecy. Watched: 20th Jul 2010 My Thoughts: To be honest I was expecting a hack and slash or sword and sorcery film but in the end this turned out to be a quite enjoyable romp through Roman history at the end of the Roman empire and leading to the Arthurian legend. Everything and everyone seemed to come together and play out well. My Rating: An enjoyable 3 Dave (From Dave's DVD/Blu-ray Reviews on July 20th, 2010) The Good Old Days TV Thread, a review by addicted2dvdStar Trek Season 1: Episode 4 The Naked Time Original Air Date: 9/29/1966 My Thoughts: I have not watched an episode of the original series in years! I really need to add more of these to my collection at some point. Right now I only have the first 10 of the original volume releases. This is a right good episode. The virus spread so fast... just from the slightest touch. While this is a good series... I prefer The Next Generation over it. For one thing I never cared too much for William Shatner. Then there is also just the better effects with the later series. But don't get me wrong... this one is still well worth watching!
