My Thoughts: We decided to watch this film today... Somehow this is a film that got by me as I never even heard of it before. After watching this film from my friends collection... I have to say,,, I must add this film to my collection! James Franco was simply amazing! The story draws you in and keeps your attention through-out the film with ease. And the fact that it is a true story only adds to it. A very powerful story to say the least. If you haven't seen this film yet... I can't recommend it high enough. It really is a must see film. My Rating: (From What Movies I Been Watching on February 16th, 2014) Just Married, a review by addicted2dvd

My Thoughts: After watching Little Black Book I felt like another Romantic Comedy with Brittany Murphy. So I grabbed this one. Though I did go into it a little hesitantly as I never was much of a fan of Ashton Kutcher. But over-all I enjoyed this one quite a bit. Some of the comedy I found to be laugh-out-loud funny... but at the same time some of it just didn't work for me. I particularly didn't like the childless and tasteless fart humor. But over-all the movie won me over. Though I personally didn't care for it quite as much as I did Little Black Book. But it is one I can easily see myself watching again. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From What Movies I Been Watching on January 20th, 2012) Tom's TV Finales marathon, a review by Tom
Plot: Way too edgy for network TV, this funny, uncensored, naming-names series peels off the glitter of Hollywood moviemaking and exposes the duplicitous but totally addictive, behind-the-scenes truth. Campy, uncesored and very controversial, this "too-close-to reality" show features guest stars that include Keanu Reeves, Salma Hayek, Scott Wolf and Sandra Bullock. Superstar producer Peter Dragon (Jay Mohr, host of TV's "Last Comic Standing") builds his stellar career on the three pillars of show business - prostitution, nepostism and dishonesty. Adding to that an ego as big as a Beverly Hills mansion, the aptly named Dragon and his cohorts manage to be politically incorrect, backstabbing, phony, petty, pissy and most of all -- ingeniously funny! Action Season 1.13 Last Ride Of The Elephant Princess Writer: Chris Thompson (Created By), Jim Vallely (Writer), Ron Zimmerman (Writer) Director: Vahan Moosekian Cast: Jay Mohr (Peter Dragon), Illeana Douglas (Wendy Ward), Jarrad Paul (Adam Rafkin), Jack Plotnick (Stuart Glazer), Buddy Hackett (Uncle Lonnie), Lee Arenberg (Bobby G.), Terry Rhoads (Guy), Stuart Pankin (Bill Rothstein), Harris Laskawy (Elliot Rothstein), James Leo Ryan (Man) Like with the pilot I was bored with the episode. So much so, that I didn't even pay enough attention, if this episode provided a proper series or even season finale Rating: (From Tom's TV Finales marathon on November 25th, 2012) |
