Synopsis: July 2nd. Aliens come to Earth but they don't bring Elvis back. Instead they blow up the usual suspects (L.A., NYC and Washington D.C.). July 3rd. We take all our CGI F18s but these bastards have shields that can withstand a nuke. Dammit! July 4th. Aliens seem to use an operating system programmed by Microsoft since it is vulnerable to viruses written on an Apple notebook. A nuke under the banner of Jolly Roger takes care of the rest.

My Opinion: This time I decided to watch the theatrical cut again and I actually noticed (most? all?) the missing parts and I think they give this film a bit more depth (But what is depth in a puddle? ). It's still a very enjoyable film if you want to stress your subwoofer. The logic in this movie is as missing as in the Transformers movies but the jokes are not as mundane as the pee jokes. Until I read the name I never noticed that Jasmine was Vernita Green from Kill Bill. And I liked to see Mary McDonnell (President Roslin in Battlestar Galactica) and Margaret Colin (Eleanor Waldorf in Gossip Girl) again.

Plot:
When the students at a prestigious prep school spread a hoax email about a serial killer, they start a game of terror and deception that has three rules: avoid suspicion, lie to your friends, and eliminate your enemies. But what starts as a joke soon turns deadly and now they find themselves victims of their own game!

My Thoughts:
This is another movie that was recently given to me. After watching the trailer I was anxious to see it. Jared Padalecki (Sam on Supernatural) is in this one... which I always get a kick out of seeing stars from TV Shows I watch in movie roles. I like the game the kids played in the beginning of the movie. All sitting around in a circle... one is  marked as a "liar" and if he is exposed... the one exposing him wins the pot... if he lasts till the end... the liar wins the pot. I enjoyed the movie. Sure it is basically just another teen horror... but I liked it. I especially liked how it ended.

What I don't like in this episode, is that the aliens are farting constantly. Luckily (as far as I remember), they didn't strife for such a childish humor in later episodes. Also the pigs in space was borderline ridiculous, but luckily that turned out as a hoax, orchastrated by the aliens.
What I didn't notice the first time around is the insistance of the doctor, that Mickey's real name is Rickey. Which is the name, the alternate universe Mickey has. It never made quite sense to me, that all persons in the alternate universe had the same name, except for Mickey. But maybe he really is called Rickey, but he doesn't like to go by it in this universe.
Another now familiar face appeared in this episode. The actress playing Sato on Torchwood. Also here she plays a character called Sato, but it is not made clear, if that is the same person. Here she seems to be a doctor though. In Torchwood she is an engineer/computer genius.
Also U.N.I.T. is mentioned here for the first time, which I now know, that passed doctors (e.g. the third doctor) had worked with.
