This Darkness, a review by Jimmy

Title : This Darkness (2003)

Overview
When world-famous genetic engineer Dr. Van Helsing discovers the secret to immortality, his world is ravaged by true-blood vampires.

My Impression
Non sense and poor vampire movie, where the vampire attack an university professor because he had found a serum to became immortal and want it (sorry but vampires are suppose to be immortal they are no reasons for them to want the serum). Of course the vampire can live in the day, but they are cannibals also... I forgot you must shoot them in the head to kill them...

Completly lame and poorly acted... But the catacomb like place where they had filmed the end on a Florida beach is really beautifull and creepy.

The Scarlet Empress, a review by Antares

The Scarlet Empress (1934) 2/5 - If we all watched films for the Art Direction, and only for that reason, then The Scarlet Empress would be talked of in the same breath as Citizen KaneThe Blue Angel

My PILOT Marathon, a review by Rich

CHEERS - SERIES 1 - PILOT - Give me a ring sometime

First aired: 9/30/1982
Stuffy & sophisticated Diane Chambers is dumped by her fiance in a blue collar Boston bar where she meets baseball star-turned-bar owner Sam Malone.

The pilot was totally as expected, introduced the 'friendly' characters in this long running hit that began in 1982 and setting the tone for the remainder of the years. Again for me Cheers is the type of programme you can flick on and off, pick up whenever you feel like it etc. Perfect for when you are eating or just need half an hours untaxing viewing.
I just love Norm (George Wendt), I knew someone just like him who 'lived' on a barstool in a local boozer in UK

Nostalgic viewing
