My Thoughts: I felt like something fun... in a silly way this morning. I remember seeing these movies when they were first released and remember enjoying them at the time so thought I would throw this disc in. Problem Child: While this one still had some decent chuckles in it... it wasn't quite as good as I remembered it being at the time it first came out. But none the less... still fun. The whole time while watching this movie the guy playing "The Bow Tie Killer" looked very familiar to me... but I just couldn't put my finger on it. When I looked it up I saw he was played by Michael Richards (Kramer on Seinfeld). I don't know why I didn't see it instantly... because once I saw his name it seemed obvious. Anyway,,, as I said... a fun show. But going by memory I was expecting a bit more.Problem Child 2: Some reason going into this one I really didn't remember much of it at all. I do know I seen it before though. Not bad... but basically just more of the same. Maybe a little heavier on the silly side then the first one is. And it was kinda fun to see a little girl that is just as much trouble as Junior is.Over-All DVD Release: This release has the two movies on one single sided DVD. So the first thing you get when you pop in this DVD is a menu to pick which movie you want to watch. Unfortunately the DVD is Pan & Scan and the only extras are the trailers. The DVD release could have been done much better. Preferably each movie on it's own disc with extras and in it's OAR. But oh well... all you can get is what is released. At least the movies are entertaining. And I can't complain... after all... this was a gift.My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From What Movies I Been Watching on July 9th, 2011) Good Luck Chuck, a review by addicted2dvdGood Luck Chuck Dane Cook stars in this hilarious comedy about the luckiest guy on earth. Meet Charlie Logan (Cook), he's a good luck charm and women are guaranteed to find true love after they sleep with him. But what seems like a blessing feels like a curse when he meets Cam (Jessica Alba), the girl of his dreams. Chuck will do anything - and anyone - to break the curse and get the girl in this raunchy, outrageous story. My Thoughts: This is a movie I borrowed from the library to see if I want to add it to my collection. I never been much of a fan of Dane Cook... but I absolutely adore Jessica Alba. I been a big fan of hers since the old Dark Angel days. Not only was she funny and adorable... she was as sexy as I have ever seen her in this movie! And Dane Cook didn't irritate me as much as he normally does... so he didn't hurt my enjoyment of this movie at all. It seems most romantic comedies out there is no more then rated PG-13... so it was refreshing to see something up above that rating for a change. I really had a good time watching this movie... and will definitely be adding it to my collection. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From Weekend Movie Marathon: 5/22 - 5/24 on May 24th, 2009) Tom's TV Finales marathon, a review by Tom
Plot: After witnessing a horrific demonic murder at the side of a Toronto roadway, private investigator Vicki Nelson finds herself on a collision course with another citizen investigating the case. He is Henry Fitzroy - former Duke of Richmond, cutting-edge graphic novelist and 470-year-old vampire. To solve the brutal murder, Vicki finds herself collaborating, against her better judgement, with the suave and seductive Fitzroy. The relationship soon progresses beyond a purely professional arrangement, complicating her long term love affair with ex-partner Detective Mike Celluci... and pretty well everything else in her life.
