Lost Boys: The Tribe, a review by addicted2dvd
Stars: Tad Hilgenbrinck Angus Sutherland Autumn Reeser Gabrielle Rose Corey Feldman Shaun Sipos Plot: Risking everything in search of the ultimate rush is fun when you know you can't die. Angus Sutherland, taking up where brother Kiefer left off in the original cult favorite, is the lead vampire in this modern reimagining of The Lost Boys. The seaside village of Luna Bay is rife with outcasts and plagued by an outbreak of missing persons. As the sun sets, the Tribe rises: a group of adrenalin-fueled, thrill-crazed vampires tears up the surf and the streets with nonstop action. But when a champion surfer (Tad Hilgenbrinck) and his sister (Autumn Reeser) move in, dark secrets erupt into hot-blooded passions and full-blooded fear. Helping fight the forces of hell: Corey Feldman in his signature role of vampire hunter Edgar Frog. Once you join the Tribe, there's no turning back. Extras: Scene Access Deleted Scenes Featurettes Music Videos My Thoughts: Before getting this movie I had heard nothing but terrible things about it... but my love for the first movie made me get this one anyway. It is now my second viewing of this one... And I feel the same as I did the first time. I went into this movie hoping to like it... but expecting to hate it. And maybe this attitude going into it is what helped me... because I enjoyed it. No... it is not nearly as good as the first one... but it is a decent vampire movie. Just nothing more then that. This release also has some decent extras including 2 alternate endings... which I got a kick out of. My Rating Out of a Possible 5 Count: Movie Count: 70 TV Ep. Count: 47 I Made It! My Thoughts: I have seen this movie at the cinema with my wife and we both really enjoyed it. And I enjoyed it just as much the second time around on Blu-ray. The way the game world is potrayed and how Guy finds out about it and begins to master it and fun to watch. And I found the ending very satisfying.Rating: (From Tom's Random Reviews on March 20th, 2023) Pete's Pilots, a review by addicted2dvdDark Angel From producer James Cameron (Titanic, Aliens, Terminator 2: Judgment Day) comes a new face of the future: Max, a sexy, genetically engineered woman on the run from her military creators, Max is determined to remain free even as she searches for the others of her kind. Set in a bleak near future where an electromagnetic pulse has plunged the country into economic and political collapse, Dark Angel captivated television audiences and garnered awards for hot, young star Jessica Alba. Pilot Max is a beautiful, unique girl -- she should be, she was designed that way. Engineered in a secret government lab twenty years ago, Max and her genetically enhanced siblings were created to be the perfect soldiers... until they escaped. Now, ten years later, against the backdrop of a post-apocalyptic Seattle, Max is on a quest to reclaim her past by finding her fellow escapees. But she's not the only one looking... My Thoughts: This is a show I always liked... but one I haven't watched in quite a while. The show has a lot of good action. Other then of course the gorgeous Jessica Alba... there is another familiar face in this series. That being Michael Weatherly... who is currently on one of my favorite show... NCIS. This pilot episode is a double length episode. My Rating: (From Pete's Pilots on November 28th, 2009) |
