But with only two short weeks till Christmas, Jake is desperate to find the perfect gift. But, as usual, things don't always happen as planned and Cassie must use a bit of magic to give her new family that special Christmas. Extras: Scene Access My Thoughts: Once again this has not yet been released officially on DVD. It is one that I made off my own recording. It is the third movie in the series. The latest movie... though I do hear they are making another. While I still enjoyed this one very much. It wasn't quite as good as the previous two. Almost but not quite. It is a good mixture between a wedding and Christmas storyline. After watching this again now... I can't wait for any future movies they decide to bring out. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From The Movies From Within My Lifetime on May 22nd, 2011) Shiver, a review by JimmyMOVIE / DVD INFO: Title: Shiver (2011) Genre: Horror Director: Julian Richards Rating: NR Length: 1h31 Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 2:35.1 Audio: English Subtitles: English Stars: Danielle Harris John Jarratt Casper Van Dien Rae Dawn Chong Brad Harris Plot: My Thoughts: This isn't often that a new movie catch my attention, but this one did it the first time I've read about it on some website I forgot when it was in the first stage of its pre-production. I felt it would be something different... not a serial killer movie told trough the eyes of the detective chasing him, not a serial killer movie told trough the eyes of the killer, but a serial killer movie told trough the eyes of one victim. It was a long wait from the moment it come to my attention untill the movie was finally picked up and release... almost three years. But the wait was a rewarding one.I can't talk too much about the film without saying too much and spoiling it. But I can promise you something different with a good credible script, good acting from Harris and Jarrat, a suspenseful atmosphere from the beginning to the end and some brutal gory moment (but it's mostly for one murder and, don't worry, this film isn't a pointless gory flick). Highly recommanded, I can't understand why that film isn't more talk about and why it got such an under the radar small release like this Rating : (From Jimmy's - 2013 Ooctober Horror Marathon on October 19th, 2013) NCIS Marathon, a review by addicted2dvdNCIS: Season 3: Disc 5 17. RAVENOUS A serial killer is suspected of murder after a missing Marine's dog tags are discovered in a national forest. My Thoughts: This is a good episode. It has a good storyline... and a good pace. I had to laugh at Tony when he saw how that woman he was flirting with didn't shave (her armpit hair and leg hair was twice as long as mine!). He thought fast... and I don't blame him! My Rating: 18. BAIT A high school student attaches a bomb to his body and holds his fellow students hostage. Gibbs and the NCIS team realize that someone else may be controlling the student from outside the school. My Thoughts: This is a great sepisode! Every time I watch this episode I am glued to the set watching. One of my favorites! My Rating: 19. ICED The body of a missing Marine is found in a frozen lake, The NCIS team investigates only to find three more bullet-ridden bodies. My Thoughts: Another really good episode. I liked the whole gang storyline. My Rating: 20. UNTOUCHABLE A Pentagon cryptographer, suspected of spying, apparently commits suicide. Gibbs and his team discover the cryptographer wasn't alone when she died. My Thoughts: While this is a good episode... it is a pretty standard one too. A good, interesting episode but nothing really standing out here to make this one great. Another episode that is more of a filler episode, My Rating: (From NCIS Marathon on December 17th, 2009) |
