Someone can tell me how I am supposed to enter this in DVDP? This is a large cardboard box with the normal blue-ray case and a plastic holder for the pendant inside

Good Deals / Vinegar Syndrome's Black Friday Weekend Sale
« on: November 29, 2013, 04:58:19 PM »

If you follow me on FaceBook you know already about that one  ;D

The sale is started and the price are great indeed, so if you want to try some of the stuff I watch it's now the time ;)

Pete you can get an highly reviewed blu-ray of Night Train to Terror for 12.49$ in this sale

If you love adult films like me their drive-in double features are the best looking arround (after the Radley Metzger's one released by Distribpix)

Also for the most mainstream purchasers Good Luck, Miss Wyckoff is an excellent drama.

Finally if someone want to give me a gift for Christmas, I'll be happy with the VAMPIRE HOOKERS poster

Suggestions & Requests / Review on front page
« on: October 06, 2013, 04:22:32 AM »
Since it's obvious that no one will continue to update the review list because that would be a big task to do after all this time, believe me I know.

Will it be possible to just add a code to a post to put it in the random list of what appear on the home page? Something like the "rated R" we use to block a review from appearing...

Or maybe it's something impossible to code because of the forum limitation

The "Marathon" reviews / Jimmy's - 2013 Ooctober Horror Marathon
« on: October 01, 2013, 06:07:07 AM »
It's october so that means that I will write reviews a lot and watch the horror movies I've purchased this summer and some other I haven't watch in a while or never watch.

As usual that will be a mix of well known films and unknown movies (common this is what I'm known for)... if I feel like it some adult films will be included.

Enough talking it's time to start :training:

Movies / Ooga Booga
« on: April 09, 2013, 02:25:59 AM »
Common tell me that it doesn't sound fun

You know I will get that as I post the trailer and I usually buy what I post...
See I purchase new movie sometimes, but it isn't the first 2013 release I'll get as I'm waiting for one to be ship from the UK.

Being myself it's a movie who did a big 72$ at the North American box office ;D
But it did better in UK and strangely in Turkey

General / Really... I mean really this isn't a joke?
« on: March 13, 2013, 02:46:29 AM »
I know it isn't but this is so insane and ridiculous... not that it's that big of a surprise considering the huge scandal there over a photo. No I won't say more, as I don't want to sound like a intolerant jerk

Iran to sue Hollywood over a series of films, including the Oscar-winning Argo :hysterical:

90 percent of the contribution to the ideas and consummation of the plan was Canadian, we have more reasons to sue. But of course we aren't retarded oil monkey so we don't do a big deal with this, a movie is a movie.

Looks like you will be like us soon :P
Don't worry it isn't the end of the world, it's that way here since always and it isn't a big deal.

"TV on DVD" Reviews / Buffy the Vampire Slayer
« on: January 12, 2013, 08:43:11 PM »
OK you can say I've lost my mind since I just end watching it last week, but I feel like watching it again so sue me

Anyway while I was watching I found that I have most of the time some things to say after an episode. So this where I'll do it ;D

I will start with the movie since it's been years since I've watched it and I'll go from there untill the end of the show.

Special note :
It's completly possible that I will write some spoilers but I won't bother about the spoiler tag as almost everybody here had watched the show anyway...

I hope to see people comments about what I'll say whatever you agree or not.

Movies / Evil Dead Remake
« on: January 04, 2013, 05:06:45 PM »
Surprisingly this is a remake that I'm interested in... it sure can't be worst than Evil Dead 2 and Army of Darkness, at least it looks like an horror movie and not a stupid slapstic comedy...

And super important for someone like me: They use real special Effects (there are a little bit of CGI but not that much, so I'm sure to appreciate)

DVD / I'm super happy today
« on: November 19, 2012, 10:27:56 AM »
Yes I am :yahoo:

Why? Because Shout! Factory will release a film that I was waiting for since forever ;D

The best movie ever made by American International Picture ;D

The best movie of Claudia Jennings ;D

The trailer doesn't show how much that movie is awesome and kick ass...

The "Marathon" reviews / Jimmy's - 2012 Ooctober Horror Marathon
« on: September 24, 2012, 09:46:14 PM »

I wanted to wait a little to post my own thread, but Pete posted his already so I won't look that excited to start

For the fifth years it's the time for my annual horror marathon ;D

I don't have a goal but of course I want to do better than last year :D

As usual you can count on a mix of known, a little bit known and not known at all movie. Maybe I'll slip a couple of adult films this year if I feel like it.

Now if that week could pass fast

This thread is to list and rate the movies you will watch in the marathon only.

Please use the other one to discuss and post your review.

The "Marathon" reviews / 2012 October Horror Marathon (Discussion thread)
« on: September 24, 2012, 06:27:59 PM »

I felt it was the time to open it even if it is a little bit early, but some of us are ready to start and want to see the october first happenning faster...

Most people know the drill, but just in case you don't...

The goal is to watch horror movies (DUH!) during this month. How many movies you'll watch isn't important (but it's always fun to break our personal record) and what you'll watch isn't either (film, TV episode, documentary,...). What is important is to have fun... anyway this is what we always want here.

This topic is the one to post your reviews and discussion about the marathon. Of course you are free to create your own marathon thread as I and Pete do every year.

Another thread is for the scorecard of what you'll watch.

P.S : Karsten I count on you to stick this thread and the scorecard one.
