All I Want, a review by RichAll I Want Seventeen year-old Jones (Elijah Wood) has decided to avoid college in favour of renting an apartment, and attempting to learn from life while trying to become a writer. As he tries to gain his mother's (Elizabeth Perkins) approval and figure out his father's whereabouts, he becomes involved with both Lisa (Mandy Moore), a struggling actress, and Jane (Franka Potente), an older photographer. When Jane is involved in a car accident, and an ex-boyfriend comes to take care of her, Jones realises how strong his feelings are for her. He then enlists his strange neighbour, Brad (Aaron Pearl), to help win Jane's love. Look out for a cameo by Deborah Harry as Ma Mabley, an over-sexed seller of beds. Well written and enjoyable tale, an easy watch that keeps you smiling most of the way through. Nothing outstanding, acting is fine, the quirky storyline gently pulls you through, with the bonus of Debbie Harry as a busty and horny shopkeeper. Video: Widescreen 1.85:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital 5.1, French: Dolby Digital 5.1 Subtitles: English Stars: Adam Sandler as Bobby Boucher Kathy Bates as Mama Boucher Henry Winkler as Coach Klein Fairuza Balk as Vicki Vallencourt Jerry Reed (1937) as Red Beaulieu Plot:Extras: Scene Access Trailers Featurettes Closed Captioned My Thoughts: Next I felt like watching a comedy... but wanted one I haven't seen in a long time. So I pulled this one out. It is more silly then it is funny... but it isn't a terrible movie. But it is not one that I can watch very often. For the most part this movie is just not funny... though there was a couple scenes I got a little laugh from. This is just an average Adam Sandler movie. Not one that I would really recommend. I would say catch it on cable or something before putting any money out for it. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From Weekend Movie Marathon: 2/19 - 2/21 on February 19th, 2010) The Flash Marathon, a review by addicted2dvdThe Flash Marathon Image: Dr. Tina McGee explains to Barry that he has an implant in his brain Episode 5 - Double Vision His wish is The Flash's command. A mad scientist implants a device in the superhero's brain and gains remote control of his powers. Guest Stars: Richard Belzer as Joe Klein Vito D'Ambrosio as Bellows Biff Manard as Murphy Mike Genovese as Lt. Warren Garfield Charley Hayward as Trachmann My Thoughts: A good episode... but not really a favorite. I didn't really care much for the main bad guy... and some of the story was done a bit silly.
