Night of the Living Dead (1990), a review by addicted2dvdTitle: Night of the Living Dead (1990) Movie Count: 31 TV Ep Count: 13 Time Started: 5pm Plot:My Thoughts: OK... for my tastes... this is much more like it! Yes... in the beginning Barbara is still all scared and crying... but she is quickly out of that in this version! This is the way I want to see Barbara! Not to mention that I am a huge fan of Tony Todd. Between those 2 things... it really feels like this remake was made catered to me. As much as I love the original... and I do love the original!.. I have to say in this case I definitely prefer the remake! How often can someone say that? (From Month-Long Horror/Halloween Marathon on October 10th, 2007) Lovely Rivals, a review by TomTitle: Lovely Rivals Links: IMDb | Wikipedia
Stars: Jung-ah Yum as Yeo Mi-ok Se-yeong Lee as Ko Mi-nam Ji-hun Lee as Kwon Sang-choon Hie-bong Byeon as Headmaster Seung-won Cha as Kim Bong-du (Cameo) Plot: Since a young and gorgeous primary school teacher, Mi-ok's work ethic is lousy, and her attitude towards managing her school matters is draconian, her colleagues and students do not get along with her at all. A new semester is coming up soon, and student, Mi-nam, just gets transferred to Mi-ok's primary school. Being a new student at the school, Mi-nam is isolated by her classmates. She thinks that she can turn to Mi-ok whenever she needs to share with someone, but Mi-ok ignores her and gives her the cold shoulder. On the contrary, Mi-ok treats the new arts teacher, Sang-min differently and cares about him a lot. Therefore, Mi-nam and Mi-ok become hostile and rude to each other. What's more, Mi-nam plans to unmask Mi-ok's bad behaviour and characters in front of Sang-min...... Extras: My Thoughts: Surprisingly heart-felt movie. I expected a simple movie about some funny rivalry between teacher and student. But it dealt with more than that. It deals with the personal issues of both and why the rivalry goes as far as it did.Rating: (From Tom's Random Reviews on September 24th, 2010) Tom's Glee Marathon, a review by TomGlee Season 2.06 Never Been Kissed Writer: Ryan Murphy (Created By), Brad Falchuk (Created By), Ian Brennan (Created By), Brad Falchuk (Writer) Director: Bradley Buecker Cast: Dianna Agron (Quinn Fabray), Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel), Jessalyn Gilsig (Terri Schuester), Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester), Jayma Mays (Emma Pillsbury), Kevin McHale (Artie Abrams), Lea Michele (Rachel Berry), Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson), Heather Morris (Brittany Pierce), Matthew Morrison (Will Schuester), Mike O'Malley (Burt Hummel), Amber Riley (Mercedes Jones), Naya Rivera (Santana Lopez), Mark Salling (Noah "Puck" Puckerman), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina Cohen-Chang), Iqbal Theba (Principal Figgins), Dot Jones (Shannon Beiste), Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike Chang), Chord Overstreet (Sam Evans), Max Adler (Dave Karofsky), Darren Criss (Blaine Anderson), Michael Hyatt (Joan Martin), Josh Sussman (Jacob Ben Israel), Telly Leung (Wes), Jeanine Anderson (Waitress), Ashley Fink (Lauren Zizes), Titus Makin, Jr. (David), Lauren Potter (Becky Jackson) This episode is the start of the bullying storyline focusing on Kurt.
