The Three Stooges: Movie Maniacs
Actors Moe, Larry and Curly are given the roles of a lifetime when they are mistaken for studio execs on a Hollywood lot.

My Thoughts:
This one is no more then an average short. I had my hopes up for a it a little bit since the plot was about making movies. But unfortunately it didn't impress me too much.

Bless the Beasts & Children, a review by Antares

Bless the Beasts & Children (1971) 3/5 - There are some moments in this film that are a little cringe worthy, especially in the dialog, but the allegory of the buffalo's plight plays well as an anti-Vietnam war statement. Some of the child actors are a little wooden, but Billy Mumy and Miles Chapin both carry themselves well in their roles. As I mentioned earlier, some of the dialog sounds as if it were written by someone who was long since removed from his adolescent years, and being a Stanley Kramer film, you get hit over the head with his preaching at times. I can understand why it is kind of a forgotten film from his canon, but it's not a bad film and is a product of its time. It's a worthwhile venture for anyone trying to understand what kind of environment people lived in at the end of what has proven to be the most turbulent decade of our history, the late sixties.

My Thoughts:
I used to watch this series every Saturday morning when I was a kid. It was one of my favorites at the time. So this show brought back some memories for me. When I first got this set I watched a few episodes with Brittany... and she liked it too so I know that this show can still appeal to kids. But I am sure it offers nothing for adults. Not unless of course you watched the show as a kid and want to watch it for nostalgic reasons. And for that reason I still find this series to be a fun distraction from real life.

This is one of those shows where the starting theme serves tells you the story on how they got there. In the first episode they are already in The Land of the Lost and they meet their new friend Cha-ka. Not to mention figure out how to fend off a T-Rex. I am probably enjoying this more then I should... but hey... this is my childhood we are talking about here. It is a reminder of simpler and better times.
