Zootopia, a review by addicted2dvd
Stars: Ginnifer Goodwin as Judy Hopps Jason Bateman as Nick Wilde Idris Elba as Chief Bogo Jenny Slate as Bellwether Nate Torrence as Clawhauser Plot:Extras:
My Thoughts: This is one I picked up on a whim when I saw it on a good sale at work. I found it to be a cute and fun film. The story easily kept my attention. While it is slightly longer then most animated films I have seen it... it seemed to be over before I knew it. A good film the entire family can enjoy. Worth the time put in to watch it. Stars: Maria Popistasu as Kiki Ioana Barbu as Alex Tudor Chirila as Sandu Catalina Murgea as Dna. Benes Mircea Diaconu as Dl. Dragnea Plot: Love knows no boundaries when a fiery lesbian love affair between two Romanian students is put to the test. It's Alex's first year at university and her world turned upside-down when she meets savvy and sexy Kiki. Despite her lover's baggage, the naive freshman falls head over heels in love. But threatening their bliss is Kiki's emotionally explosive brother whose attachment to her seems downright incestuous. Directed with a poetic eye, Love Sick spins its quick wit and hard-edged romance into a sublimely sensual portrait of first love. Extras:
My Thoughts: This is my first Romanian movie. I always was interested seeing one, since I work daily with Romanian colleagues. But they couldn't recommend me a good one. Last week I stumbled across this one while browsing Amazon. I enjoyed this movie. On Wikipedia it is said to be often compared to "My Summer of Love". There are some similarities, but I enjoyed "Love Sick" more. Rating: (From Lesbian Movie Marathon on January 12th, 2013) Tom's TV Pilots marathon, a review by Tom
Plot: According to a recent study, 63% of American families are now considered dysfunctional. According to Christopher Titus, that makes him a proud member of the majority. Welcome to the extremely dysfunctional -- and semi-autobiographical -- world of Christopher Titus' screwed-up relationships with his loving girlfriend (Cynthia Watros), his not-too-bright kid brother (Zack Ward), his flamboyantly-anal best friend (David Shatraw), his manic-depressive schizophrenic mother, and most of all, his five-times-divorced, wussy-hating, abusive father (Stacy Keach). It's a darkly hilarious ride through a life filled with suicide, alcoholism, dementia, violence, crime, comas, restraining orders and more. This is not your average 'happy family' sitcom. This is TITUS. This collection includes 33 complete episodes -- featuring such guest stars as David Hyde Pierce, Jay Leno, Richard Benjamin and Ed Begley Jr.Titus Season 1.01 Dad's Dead Writer: Jack Kenny (Writer), Brian Hargrove (Writer), Christopher Titus (Writer) Director: Michael Lessac Cast: Christopher Titus (Christopher Titus), Cynthia Watros (Erin Fitzpatrick), Zack Ward (Dave Titus), David Shatraw (Tommy Shafter), Stacy Keach (Ken Titus), Phoenix Forsyth (10 Year Old Titus), Dylan Capannelli (5 Year Old Titus) A perfect introduction to the series and its humor. How the main characters think their dad his died because he hasn't left his room for four days and are afraid to check on him. And as a viewer you only see the dad in flashbacks and as a first time viewer you think this is how the series will play out.
