Plot:
Are you ready for a different kind of football? I want to start off this review by saying that I have never had the opportunity to see the original 1974 version of this movie. So I can't tell you how it compares to it. But after watching this movie today... I would love to check out the original as I enjoyed every minute of this movie. I found it to be an all around fun movie. It has plenty of laughs and plenty of football action.... with a good storyline to bring it all together. I also liked that they got Burt Reynolds to play the coach in this movie after seeing that he played the part of Crewe in the original movie. I went into this movie with no expectations what so ever.... and came out of it a little surprised how much fun I did have watching it. It's also a good DVD release as there is no audio/video problems and there is a nice selection of extras to go along with it.

This movie was given to me from a very generous friend.... so I want to take this opportunity to say thank you once again. As I really enjoyed this one!

Now I just need to get my hands on the original!

Plot:
Scooby-Doo and the Mystery, Inc. gang are in for a creepy encounter with a monstrous monster from Mexico in the mucho spooky, all-new Scooby-Doo movie!

The gang heads south of the border for some well-earned rest and relaxation, but there's trouble in the town of Veracruz, where tourists are being frightened away by a terrifying creature who is ten feet tall, with huge, green-glowing eyes!

When Scooby-Doo and the gang discover that their friend may have to sell his hotel because of the creature, things get even more mysterious. Scooby-Doo, Shaggy and the gang must then tangle with everything from giant feathered serpents to ghoulish ghosts, as they race to solve this Mexican mystery before the creature of Veracruz can strike again!

My Thoughts:

Everyone loves Scooby doo, and this is one of my favorites! Alot like the TV show with a Spanish accent!!

There are a lot of good laughs in the movie, like Shaggy closing the door on Fred thinking he's el Chupacabra. The movie also fits in a fair amount of Mexican culture, which I must say is pretty impressive for a cartoon.

A great season finale. Even a great series finale like how WB has promoted it at the time (Buffy was switching networks after this season). Everyone gets their moments: Willow/Tara (Willow being bad-ass and restoring Tara's mind), Xander/Anya (proposal), Spike/Buffy, Giles (handling Glory/Ben) and of course Dawn and Buffy.
