Extras: Deleted Scenes Featurettes Interviews Scene Access My Thoughts: I really like the first half of this movie. Great introductions of the characters. But as with the first time I have watched it in the cinema, I felt it lost something from the moment "Kevin" appears. And then shortly after with all the talking dogs. It's a little too ridiculous even for a movie where a house flies with balloons. But still the second half is worth watching. Some great action scenes, which were even better in 3D.Rating: (From Tom's Random Reviews on June 26th, 2010) Severance, a review by Boomstick98Severance (2006) Plot: When a weapons multinational Palisade Defence reward their European sales division with a team-building weekend in the mountains of Eastern Europe, comedy blends with horror as the team fight first amongst themselves, and later for survival against a group of war-crazed killers intent on revenge. My O: This is my second time watching this film and I enjoyed it a much the second time as I did the first. There are some very funny moments in this film and some really good gore effects. Nothing original about a group of people stuck out in the middle of nowhere with a bunch of crazed killers, but this one does it well with a comic flair. Harding Welsh), Tony Craig (Detective Jack Huey), Catherine Bruhier (Elaine), Camilla Scott (Inspector Margaret Thatcher), Michele Scarabelli (Sister Anne), Marisol Nichols (Melissa), Heather McComb (Celine), Frank Moore (Johnstone), Nicole Crozier (Wanda), Tomas Chovanec (Todd), Karyn Dwyer (Tiffany), Daniel MacDonald (Craig Murphy), Rummy Bishop (Lorenzo) A good episode. Though you have to suspend your disbelieve that nobody notices that Ms. Fraser is a woman. Also Fraser must have experience with wearing women's shoes. He was walking like an expert Rating: (From "Due South" marathon on August 21st, 2009) |
