My thoughts about Guardians of the Galaxy:

Curiosity got the better of me. I should have known I was going to dislike this movie strongly. And here is why:
- As a general rule I seldom like movies that are over 2 hours. It takes a lot to keep me interested that long.
- As a general rule I don't like anything Marvel. Daredevil is the exception. The show, that is, not the movie. God no, not that!
- I don't like overuse of CGI. For me less is more. And there are few more "lessless" movies than this one.

It's not entirely without merit, though. It has a few great songs on the soundtrack. Especially the one with . Oh, yeah, most of you may not know who they are. That's because that name would have been hopeless in an international launch of that song. So you might know them as Blue Swede
I rate this title

Divine Secrets Of The Ya-Ya Sisterhood, a review by Rich

Divine Secrets Of The Ya-Ya Sisterhood

Classic chickflick examining a mother/daughter relationship, certainly a good book adaption and well acted.
Maggie Smith and Ellen Burstyn steal the show as 2 elderly eccentric members of the sisterhood, and Ashley Judd is surprisingly accomplished in the role as the crazy younger Vivi. There are several funny parts, and extremely in-depth characterisations, but I found it dragging and overly sentimental for too many segments of the movie.
Definately one for the ladies, but it is watchable for a fella - just!

Supernatural Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

Supernatural: Season 1

EPISODE 6: Skin
A demonic shape-shifter adopts the likeness of Sam's college buddy to commit a gruesome murder. When the brother's investigate, the being "borrows" Dean's form to continue his killing spree.

Guest Stars:
Amy Grabow as Rebecca
Peter Shinkoda as Alex
Marrett Green as Anchorman
Anita Brown as Lindsay

My Thoughts:
Another good episode. I liked how they worked in how Dean has some form of resentment to Sam... and now Sam knows it. I also liked how the Shape Shifter changed shapes... it was pretty gross.

My Rating:
