Beetlejuice, a review by addicted2dvdTitle: Beetlejuice: 20th Anniversary Deluxe Edition Year: 1988 Director: Tim Burton Rating: PG Length: 92 Min. Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 1.85:1 Audio: English: Dolby Digital: 5.1, Spanish: Dolby Digital: 2-Channel Stereo, French: : , Music Only: Dolby Digital: 5.1 Subtitles: English, French, Spanish Stars: Alec Baldwin Geena Davis Annie McEnroe Maurice Page Hugo Stanger Michael Keaton Plot:Extras: Scene Access Feature Trailers 3 Episodes of Animated Beetlejuice series My Thoughts: I always found this movie to be a lot of fun. Geena Davis was great in the role. And even though I don't normally care for her... I also enjoyed Winona Ryder. While this is a movie I like to watch a lot... so I am thrilled to have this Anniversary Deluxe Edition DVD. Though I am not sure that this release deserves such an edition. I mean how can you call this a deluxe edition? The fact that they added a few episodes of the animated series is cool... and then there is the theatrical trailer but where are the extras that more people want to see? There is no Commentary? What about a Featurette or two? Blooper Reel? Nope... we don't get none of that. Talk about a missed opportunity! Oh well at least it is a movie I really enjoy... and there is a few episodes of the animated series... which I haven't seen any of in a very long time. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From Movies of the '80s Marathon on May 8th, 2010) Justice League Dark, a review by addicted2dvd
Stars: Matt Ryan as Constantine (Voice) Camilla Luddington as Zatanna (Voice) Jason O'Mara as Batman (Voice) JB Blanc as Abnegazar, Merlin (Voice) Ray Chase as Jason Blood/Etrigan (Voice) Plot:Extras:
My Thoughts: Enjoyable film... glad I added it to my collection. Though I am not as familiar with these characters... it was still worth the time put in to watch it. Rating: (From Within My Lifetime: 2017 Edition on February 10th, 2017) The IT Crowd: Version 3.0 - (mini) marathon, a review by Achim"IT department. Have you tried turning off and then on again?" 1. From Hell A great start into the third series, showing right away that Graham Linehan still has it in him (which he will hopefully keep proving throughout the next episodes). Was laughing at the opening credits (had forgotten about them) and then the laughs just kept coming. (click to show/hide) (From The IT Crowd: Version 3.0 - (mini) marathon on July 31st, 2009) |
