Scrooge, the ultimate Victorian miser, hasn't a good word for Christmas, though his impoverished clerk Cratchit and nephew Fred are full of holiday spirit. But in the night, Scrooge is visited by spirits of another color. Straightforward adaptation of Dickens.

My Thoughts:
There is just no way I could have a Christmas Marathon and not watch Scrooge. There has been many different versions of this story made... but I have not seen many of them myself... so I can't say if this is the best version. (This one stars Sir Seymour Hicks)... but I can say I did enjoy it. This was actually a DVD I got free in a 20 disc/40 movie classic collection when I subscribed to Total Movie Magazine. Quality is far from great... but it is watchable at least. And for free I won't complain.

Overview	After getting a taste for blood as children, Hansel (Jeremy Renner) and Gretel (Gemma Arterton) have become the ultimate vigilantes, hell-bent on retribution. Now, unbeknownst to them, Hansel and Gretel have become the hunted, and must face an evil far greater than witches...their past.
My thoughts	I guess I should be thankful that there were so many bad reviews for this film, so therefore I came to it with very low expectations. And I thought it was a lot of fun. Sure, it's no masterpiece, but it was entertaining enough for me. I really liked Gemma Arterton. I have only seen her in a few movies before, but she didn't make a great impression on me then. She did now. Jeremy Renner and Famke Janssen were OK. I don't quite see why this film has gotten so much hate. Perhaps it was too violent for some. But hey, it's from the director of Dead Snow, so what did you expect? The rating should tell you it's not your average children's fairy tale. So, it probably won't make my all time top 100, but it was decent enough entertainment. And just long enough for my taste.

The Defiant crew land on a planet, where they meet descendents of themselves. As it turns out, they will catapulted back two hundred years when trying to leave the planet and crashland there.
Now they have deal with the dilemna that avoiding the accident which brings them back in time would result that the colony of 8000 people will never have existed.
A well executed episode which I always enjoyed.
