American Hustle, a review by Silence_of_LambsSummary: A con man (Christian Bale), along with his seductive partner (Amy Adams), is forced to work for a wild FBI agent (Bradley Cooper), who pushes them into a world of Jersey powerbrokers and mafia. My Thoughts: This film resembles an All-Star line-up and from the Cast-Role alone it is clear why this flick got so many Oscar nominations. If all this outstanding personnel could be covenanted it must My Rating: (out of possible 5) (From Michael's random reviews on November 22nd, 2014) The Blind Side, a review by addicted2dvdTitle: The Blind Side Year: 2009 Director: John Lee Hancock Rating: PG-13 Length: 128 Min. Extras: Scene Access Bonus Trailers Deleted Scenes My Thoughts: Being such a big Sandra Bullock fan I been wanting to see this one... especially since she won the Oscar for her role in it. And I must say... it is an Oscar she deserved. She was definitely excellent in this film. I also thought that Quinton Aaron did a fantastic job as well. I enjoyed every minute of this movie. The story is very well told. And like the above movie is one that is based off a true story. I am so happy this has been added to my collection... thanks to the help of a kind friend. If you haven't checked this one out yet... I definitely recommend it. My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From Weekend Movie Marathon: Unwatched DVDs on July 30th, 2010) Fear Itself Marathon, a review by addicted2dvdFear Itself: The Complete Series 13. The Circle A group of people meet every Halloween to tell horror stories and suddenly discover they're living one. Director: Eduardo Rodriguez (Curandero, Daughter) Stars: Jonathon Schaech Ashley Scott Victoria Pratt Melanie Nicholls-King Sarah Deakins My Thoughts: Going into this episode the first thing I notice is 2 names I am familiar with. Ashley Scott who I watched as The Huntress on Birds of Prey and Victoria Pratt who was "Sarge" on Cleopatra 2525. First thing I notice when I put the episode on... it is indeed a second Halloween episode. While I liked the episode... I think it could have been done better. I definitely liked the twist at the end... though it is another one I really should have seen coming. My Rating: (From Fear Itself Marathon on April 15th, 2010) |
