Plot:
My Thoughts:
Maybe I'm stupid but if you call your movie XYZ The Beginning this movie is suppose to be a prequel right? In that case why there is no connection to the first movie? Yes there are three brothers in the first film but... they weren't in a hospital for retarded inbreds and they didn't eat their parents when they were kids (their father is alive and well in the second film). Where the hell that big hospital came from and why it isn't condamned? I think the autorities will know that something isn't right after 27 years with no contact...

Anyway the fact this movie make no sense is the least of its problem... Once again we have a bunch of unlikable, uncharismatic and boring characters. We got some of the stupidest lines ever writen in a horror film: seriously,at one point they put the three inbreds in a jail but when one of the guy wants to kill them as they deserve one of the girl say "we can't kill them because we will be like them". Boo hoo cry me a fricking river, they just killed four of your friends and eat them fricking retarded liberal hippie. What do you want to do? Take a guitar and sing Kumbaya for the rest of the night...

Another stupid movie in that franchise.

The Wolf Man, a review by addicted2dvd

The Wolf Man (1941)
The original horror classic that introduced one of the screen's most infamous monsters! Lon Chaney, Jr. portrays Larry Talbot, who returns to his father's (Claude Rains) castle in Wales and meets a beautiful woman (Evelyn Ankers). One fateful night, Talbot escorts her to a local carnival where Jenny's fate is revealed by a mysterious gypsy fortune teller. The dreamlike atmospheres and elaborate settings combined with a chilling musical score make 'The Wolf Man' a masterpiece not only of the genre, but for all time!

My Thoughts:
I couldn't have this classics marathon without watching The Wolf Man... my favorite of the classic Universal monster movies. I have watched this movie countless times since I got the boxset years ago. The boxset with The Wolf Man, Dracula, Frankenstein, The invisible Man, The Mummy. Bride of Frankenstein, Creature from the Black Lagoon & Phantom of the Opera. This movie definitely has some classic horror greats with Claude Rains, Bela Legosi and Lon Chaney, Jr. I still can't believe they are making a remake of this movie... but I will try to remain open minded for it.

Pete's Pilots, a review by addicted2dvd

Dead Like Me
You're about to be collected. "Winningly eccentric" (LA Daily News) and "insistently irreverent" (People), this groundbreaking, original series delivers you into a realm of shockingly funny characters and twisted narratives you'll find completely "addictive" (NY Daily News)!

When an errant toilet seat from the falling Mir Space Station puts an abrupt end to her life, George (Ellen Muth) discovers that death is nothing like she thought it would be. Recruited to collect the souls of others as they die, she suddenly finds herself an unwilling participant in a line of work she never knew existed: Grim Reaping!

Pilot
When smart, cynical, 18-year-old George is crushed to death by an errant toilet seat from space, she joins the ranks of an undead group of grim reapers. As she clumsily learns to adjust to her new role in the afterlife, George haphazardly hurtles toward her first dreaded assignment: to collect the soul of a little girl.

My Thoughts:
Wow... what to say about this one... it is just a fun dark comedy. I loved every minute of it. Of course I really get a kick out of how George (for those that haven't seen this show...in this case George is a girl) joins the ranks of the Reapers. Other then the good story I also enjoy how they did the gravelings. Another thing I like about this series is how they portray the dead going into the light. The light forms into something fun/important to the person that died... and it draws them to it. I definitely recommend this series if you never seen it.
