Pet Sematary 2, a review by addicted2dvdTitle: Pet Sematary Two Movie Count: 33 TV Ep Count: 13 Time Started: 1pm Plot: Sometimes dead is better. But the shocking terror that plagued Ludlow, Maine in Pet Sematary is still very much alive in this heart-stopping sequel to the 1989 hit film written by Stephen King. After the death of his wife, veterinarian Chase Matthews (Anthony Edwards, TV's "ER") and hsi 13-year-old son Jeff (Edward Furlong, "Terminator 2: Judgement Day") move to Ludow to rebuild their lives. Antagonized by the neighborhood kids, Jeff befriends another outsider, Drew Gilbert, who lives in fear of his cruel stepfather Gus (Clancy Brown, "Highlander"). After Gus cold-bloodely shoots Drew's beloved dog, the boys bury the body in the local Indian burial grounds - a place rumored to have powers of resurrection. When evil is awakened, the boys realize that sometimes you should just let dead dogs lie. My Thoughts: I figured since I watched the first one I would go ahead and watch the sequel too. I enjoyed this movie... but not nearly as much as the first one. I would say... that in my opinion this one is just an average horror movie. Worth the time putting into it... but not something I would be in a hurry to pick up. More like something I would grab if I found cheap... probably on an impulse buy. That said... it is still a movie I enjoy watching now and again... but not one that I feel the need to watch every time I watch the first one. NET WORTH Virtual reality takes on new meaning when the Sliders are split up on a world addicted to an internet-addicted world and get caught up in a dangerous romance between an Online girl and and Offliner. My Thoughts: This is a pretty good... but standard episode. Felt mostly like a filler episode to me. My Rating: 16. SLIDE BY WIRE Maggie's double seizes an opportunity to go to a different world with the unknowing Sliders, while the real Maggie is left behind in a brutal military experiment. My Thoughts: This is a very good episode. I liked how they went from a technologically advanced world to where one where technology is forbidden. I also liked how they took the wrong Maggie with them and had to go back for her. Something they couldn't have done in the earlier seasons. My Rating: 17. DATA WORLD The Sliders check in to a glamorous hotel with strict rules of decorum, but once the idyllic retreat has "scanned" them, they find themselves encrypted in a computer program they can't escape. My Thoughts: This is a good episode... played more for fun. Because of that it had quite a bit of Comedy in it. I especially liked the fighting scene. My Rating: 18. WAY OUT WEST The spirit of the West is alive and kicking when the Sliders land in an Old West town and face a showdown with their old nemesis, Mr. K. My Thoughts: This is a good episode. This is one I actually enjoyed quite a bit... and it does have a Kromagg in it. This one you are back in the Old West once again. It is also one of the very few (I can't even remember another one) where at the end of the episode we don't see them slide to the next world.
