Plot:
Based on the historical events the movie tells the story of a riot at the battleship Potemkin. What started as a protest strike when the crew was given rotten meat for dinner ended in a riot. The sailors raised the red flag and tried to ignite the revolution in their home port Odessa.

My Thoughts:
This is one of those cheap freebie movies I got in a 40 movie boxset for subscribing to the Total Movie Magazine years ago. But is one I never got around to watching. So going into it I wasn't expecting much quality wise. And there was definitely problems with the quality... there was plenty of dust and scratches on the film... there was also plenty of shaky images... but to be honest I expected worse. I mean after all... this movie is over 80 years old. This is some sort of redone film as it is a silent film... but there is a guy speaking Russian over the opening. Unfortunately I had a hard time with the subtitles on this release... as some of it was cut off at the bottom of the screen so no idea what was being said in some parts... especially towards the beginning. Plus what subtitles were shown was show pretty quickly making it hard for a slow reader like me to watch it I had to keep pausing and rewinding to see what was being said at times. I did like that this film is based in fact. Or at least that is how it seems. I never been a good history student.... though the name of the ship did always seem familiar to me. But it is definitely not depicting a good time in history. The story itself is powerful enough to keep your interest. I just wish the quality was a little better... and some of the subtitles a little slower. I would have probably been able to enjoy this story a little more then I did.My Rating:

My Thoughts:
BFFs Kate Hudson & Anne Hathaway square off against one another when their weddings get double booked at The Plaza Hotel on the same day. Good movie with a predictable finish. The back and forth treachery between the two was quite humorous.
In the battle of the babes Anne Hathaway wins hands down. She is gorgeous! Kate Hudson is nothing to sneeze at either but for me brunette is best.

My Thoughts:
Going into this episode the first thing I notice is 2 names I am familiar with. Ashley Scott who I watched as The Huntress on Birds of Prey and Victoria Pratt who was "Sarge" on Cleopatra 2525. First thing I notice when I put the episode on... it is indeed a second Halloween episode. While I liked the episode... I think it could have been done better. I definitely liked the twist at the end... though it is another one I really should have seen coming.
