My Thoughts:
A very harmless comedy. John Candy plays a very likable guy. Ally Sheedy as the love interest is really sweet. But nothing stands out in this movie.

Primal Fear, a review by Dragonfire

Primal Fear

Guilty? Innocent? Those questions aren't for high-powered Chicago attorney Martin Vail (Richard Gere) to decide. His job is to defend - especially if a case will put his name in the headlines and further his career.

When Vail hears that a penniless altar boy (Edward Norton) is accused of murdering the local archbishop, he snaps up the case, eager for the media spotlight. Little does he know that it will uncover a viper's nest of corruption, pit him against a prosecutor (Laura Linney) who's his ex-lover, and test all his skill, judgment and even his win-at-any-cost attitude.

My Thoughts

I first saw this one several years ago after it was out to rent.  The plot is very interesting and I think there are a good number of surprises, one or two of which really shocked me the first time I saw the movie.  The movie does have a slightly slower pace, though it isn't so slow that things get boring.  The movie is very interesting and entertaining and I think it has a good amount of suspense.  I think it has held up well and it still works as a good thriller.  The characters are interesting, each with enough little quirks or issues to make them more believable.  The cast is wonderful, especially Edward Norton.  He is absolutely amazing as Aaron.  I can see why he received so many award nominations and won some too.  I think he should have gotten the Oscar too.

I really like this movie and think it is one of the better thrillers that I've seen.  it is definitely worth watching.

I did get a review posted at Epinions if anyone wants to take a look.

Smallville Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

Season 1: Disc 4:

13. KINETIC
Whitney falls in with the wrong crowd - ex-jocks turned theives whose kryptonite-saturated tattoos alter their molecular structure so they can pass through walls... and rob banks and Lex's mansion with ease.

My Thoughts:
Good episode... really interesting... I like the tattoo angle. In this one Clark has to come to the aide of Whitney. Talk about awkward... having to help the boyfriend of the girl you are in love with!

14. ZERO
A nemisis presumed to be dead for three years resurfaces in Smallville and stalks Lex. Chloe uncovers intriguing information about Clark's adoption.

My Thoughts:
An interesting episode... yet probably my least favorite Smallville episode there is. Definitely my least favorite of season 1. I found myself enjoying the sub-story of Chloe investigating Clark's life... then the main storyline. Oh well... they can't all be winners.

15. NICODEMUS
Jonathan turns against his son, Lana becomes a sexy flirt, and Pete sets out to settle a score with Lex. They all exhibit unusual behavior after coming into contact with a strange, toxic flower - and there appears to be no antidote to the flower's poison.

My Thoughts:
This was a fun episode.... not only for the sexy scene with Lana... but the little nod to John Schnider's  old TV Series... The Dukes of Hazzard... where you see him driving a pick-up and listening to the Dukes of Hazzard theme song on the radio.Being a big Dukes of Hazzard fan I got a kick out of that. The whole episode was and interesting and fun one... much better then the previous one... that is for sure.

16. STRAY
A child that can read minds escapes from his cruel parents and finds happiness with the Kents. But that joy may be brief when his parents come looking for the boy so they can use his psychic gifts in a life of crime.

My Thoughts:
Great episode! I really liked the boy in this episode. This is one of the episodes I would consider in my top favorites.
