Love Actually, a review by TomTitle: Love Actually Year: 2003 Director: Richard Curtis Rating: FSK-6 Length: 129 Min. Video: Anamorphic Widescreen 2.35 Audio: English: Dolby Digital 5.1, German: Dolby Digital 5.1, Commentary: Dolby Digital Surround Subtitles: Commentary, English, German Stars: Bill Nighy Hugh Grant Emma Thompson Keira Knightley Colin Firth Allan Rickman Plot: From the makers of Notting Hill and Bridget Jones's Diary comes the ultimate romantic comedy. This blockbuster film includes a fantastic all-star cast and an outstanding soundtrack. The hilarious Love Actually explores the ups and downs of relationships in the weeks building up to Christmas. Boyfriends & girlfriends, husbands & wives, fathers & sons and rock stars & managers all combine to make Love Actually not just one story but ten very different ones. Because if you look hard enough you will find love actually is all around. Awards:
Extras: Commentary Deleted Scenes Featurettes Music Videos Scene Access Trailers My Thoughts: Usually when you take an all-star cast and have countless of storylines going on at once, the result is a mess, because either one of the actors gets too much screentime, or too little. Or the most boring one gets the most, etc.But in this movie it all worked out great. Each of the storylines probably could have been a movie of its own. It is like watching all of this movies at once, switching between them to just see the important scenes of each. My Thoughts: OK... What do I think about this one? Coming freshly out of it... I found it entertaining for sure. But for some reason I was expecting more laugh out loud moments. I found it to be a fun... silly story... but not something to really laugh at. But I did have a good time watching it. So it is worth the time put in to watch it.My Rating: Out of a Possible 5 (From What Movies I Been Watching on July 21st, 2013) Tom's Glee Marathon, a review by TomGlee Season 2.06 Never Been Kissed Writer: Ryan Murphy (Created By), Brad Falchuk (Created By), Ian Brennan (Created By), Brad Falchuk (Writer) Director: Bradley Buecker Cast: Dianna Agron (Quinn Fabray), Chris Colfer (Kurt Hummel), Jessalyn Gilsig (Terri Schuester), Jane Lynch (Sue Sylvester), Jayma Mays (Emma Pillsbury), Kevin McHale (Artie Abrams), Lea Michele (Rachel Berry), Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson), Heather Morris (Brittany Pierce), Matthew Morrison (Will Schuester), Mike O'Malley (Burt Hummel), Amber Riley (Mercedes Jones), Naya Rivera (Santana Lopez), Mark Salling (Noah "Puck" Puckerman), Jenna Ushkowitz (Tina Cohen-Chang), Iqbal Theba (Principal Figgins), Dot Jones (Shannon Beiste), Harry Shum, Jr. (Mike Chang), Chord Overstreet (Sam Evans), Max Adler (Dave Karofsky), Darren Criss (Blaine Anderson), Michael Hyatt (Joan Martin), Josh Sussman (Jacob Ben Israel), Telly Leung (Wes), Jeanine Anderson (Waitress), Ashley Fink (Lauren Zizes), Titus Makin, Jr. (David), Lauren Potter (Becky Jackson) This episode is the start of the bullying storyline focusing on Kurt.
