Also a part of the "Haunted by the Past" boxset. This movie is actually the reason I bought this boxset. I have... and enjoyed the first 2 Witchouse movies.... but never seen the 3rd one. so When I spotted this set of 4 movies for only $5.99 I figured even if I only like the one movie... it will be worth the price. After watching it.... I have to say it is my least favorite of the Witchouse movies... but It was good enough that I am not sorry that I bought the set. I would have been disappointed if I paid more for it. but at the cheap price I got it for... no problems. Though if you watch these movies... I would suggest stopping at part 2... unless you get part 3 very cheap.

This is not a female buddy picture or a chick flick, but an honest and bittersweet look at a friendship that turns into something suffocating as the girls grow older. I already knew that Michelle Williams is a fine actress, but so far I had only seen her in supporting roles. Here she proves that she can also play the lead. Anna Friel, while having the slightly more difficult role, is equally great. Never saw her before, but I look forward to the arrival of my Pushing Daisies box.

DVD Note: Avoid the R1-US. It is slightly cut, has the wrong aspect ratio, and lacks the AC.

Originally I only wanted to watch one Doctor Who episode today. But then I saw that Eve Myles guest starred in this episode. I now know her from the main cast of Torchwood. Her character here is very different. If I hadn't read the name, I am not sure if I would have recognized her. Even though knowing it is her, it is rather obvious. She did a good job.

This episode reintroduces the concept, that when the doctor travels to the earth's path, he usually encounters an alien life form, from which he has to save humankind. It is a good episode, even though I am not much a fan of "ghost" stories.
