My Thoughts:
This is the first time I ever seen this one. While I am not a big fan of George Clooney... He wasn't bad in this one.  Though for some reason Julia Roberts didn't do it much for me here. She just seemed a bit stiff in the role. Not exactly relaxed... so not exactly believable. I also felt pretty much the same thing with Brad Pitt. But he is another one I never been a big fan of either. The movie itself I enjoyed quite a bit despite the problem I had with some of the main cast. It has a good, interesting storyline that easily kept my interest. I enjoyed it enough to look forward to seeing the sequel before too long.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

Maximum Overdrive, a review by addicted2dvd

Title: Maximum Overdrive
Movie Count: 11
TV Ep Count: 1
Time Started: 7am
Plot:
When a mysterious comet passes close to Earth, machines everywhere suddenly take on murderous minds of their own. Soon, video games, cash machines, drawbridges, and steamrollers all go on a psychotic killing spree of global rebellion. But when the Dixie Boy Truck Stop is held hostage by a mob of homicidal 18-wheelers, human vengeance goes into overdrive. Who made who? And who will survive the final showdown of man vs. bloodthirsty machine?

My Thoughts:
This is one of my favorites from the '80s. Also a Stephen King movie which of course I love. There is a lot of inventive kills and injuries conflicted on people in this movie. There is a small under-tone of comedy in some of the scenes as well. Definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.

Pete's Pilots, a review by addicted2dvd

Moonlight

No Such Thing as Vampires
A Hearst College coed with a thing for vampires turns up dead - with two puncture wounds in her neck.

My Thoughts:
This is a show I liked a lot when it originally aired. It is one that just wasn't treated right at the time. You never knew when it was going to be on or not. Making it hard to keep track of. Because of this it got canceled much earlier then it should have. I mean this one won a People's Choice Award for favorite new series. But yet it is canceled because of the ratings? Sorry that don't make much sense to me.

Sure this is a story that has been told over and over again. The vampire that wants to redeem himself. But this one is interesting and had enough new and different views on the vampire legend that made it an entertaining show to watch. His friend is played by Jason Dohring... who played Logan on Veronica Mars. My least favorite character on that series. But on this show... I really liked him on here.
