Get ready for the UNRATED and OUT-OF-CONTROL version of Old School that you couldn't see in theaters!

What's a guy supposed to do when he catches the early flight home and finds his girlfriend in a bed with a room full of naked strangers? Return to college and start a fraternity! Before you can say "wild and wet wrestling," Frank "The Tank" (Will Ferrell, Saturday Night Live); Mitch (Luke Wilson, Legally Blonde) and Beanie (Vince Vaughn, Swingers) have their own frat raging with out-of-control antics. But when things get too wild, the dean sets out to shut them down. The laughs are top of the class (even if the guys aren't!) in the hit comedy from director Todd Phillips (Road Trip).

My Thoughts:
This is the first time I have seen this movie. It is a movie that was given to me in a big box of DVDs recently. It is however the full Screen version. But that is ok... I can always upgrade if I see it for a decent price. There were a few familiar faces of people I know from different TV Series in this movie. There was Elisha Cuthbert (24... Ellen Pompeo (Grey's Anatomy)... and there was Leah Remini (King of Queens)... all of whom I enjoy.

As for the movie itself. What did I think.... hmmmmm.... It's not a bad movie... but it did feel like something was lacking. I found it entertaining... but no real laugh out loud moments. I would say it is worth watching... and I can even see myself watching it again at some time. But not one I will be popping in very often. Pretty much just an average comedy.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

Faster Pussycat...Kill! Kill!, a review by Jimmy

MOVIE / DVD INFO:

Title: Faster Pussycat...Kill! Kill! (1965)

Genre: Action
Director: Russ Meyer
Rating: 18 (British dvd)
Length: 1h23
Video: Full Frame (it's the original theatrical ratio)
Audio: English
Subtitles: None

Stars:
Tura Satana
Haji
Lori Williams
Sue Bernard
Stuart Lancaster

Plot:
Faster Pussycat, Kill! Kill! is the story of a new breed of superwomen...three buxom go-go girls: Varla, Rosie, and Billie, wildly dancing the watusi before the leers jeers and lecherous come-ons of their drooling all-male audience. The violence, implicit in the girls' tease, is quickly moved out of the microcosmic bar into the outside world as they literally let go of themselves, embarking on a wild, violent, deadly journey of vengeance on all men. Varla, the outrageously abundant karate master leader of the pack, breaks the arms and back of one man, runs her Porsche over two others, grinds a fourth, a muscleman, against a wall and, eventually, deliberately goes down the path of her own self-destruction, dragging her two buxotic cohorts along with her.

My Thoughts:
This is probably the most known of the Russ Meyer's movies, not my favorite personally (Vixen and Good Morning... and Goodbye! are) but this is a great film anyway. As you can understand from the synopsis this is a girl power movie and in 1965 that was not something common. Those girls are sure tough and can defend themselves (Tura Satana beat the crap of all the men in this film with her bare hand, she really does the fight herself and those fight are great) and are sure good looking also (ok not really miss Satana), by the way Haji is French Canadian so it's a natural (common after the Asian, our women are the most beautifull one in the world). Surprisingly for a Russ Meyer's film there are no nudity in this film at all, but I don't feel it was necessary for this movie since it's about how those girls can kick ass. The acting without being great is corect, but the bad italian accent that Haji use sure make her lines very hard to understand for me

Maybe the fact it's a black and white film will make some people run from it, but let me tell you one thing : If you do this you will miss one of the best drive-in movie ever made.

Charmed Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

Disc 4:

13. Repo Manor
When The Charmed Ones consider moving, they're forced to stay under the same roof by a demon that miniaturizes and imprisons them inside a dollhouse replica of the Manor.

My Thoughts:
This is another good... but standard episode.  Pretty much everything in this episode we seen in previous episodes... just brought together into a single episode... we have The Charmed Ones being shrunken and placed into the Dollhouse.... demons impersonating The Charmed Ones... all been done before.

14. 12 Angry Zen
Piper searches for information about Leo and discovers a message from Lo Pan, a monk and keeper of a sacred Buddhist staff containing the power of influence.

My Thoughts:
A good episode.. and something different this time as well... Buddha's Staff. Also in this episode Billie finally finds out how to find her sister.

15. The Last Temptation Of Christy
Paige is torn between dating mortal Henry or a magical suitor who proposes marriage, while Billie finds her sister, Christy, who has been held captive by demons for several years.

My Thoughts:
A good episode... Billie and Christy takes care of the Demons that kept Christy captive for all these years. Even though all is not as it seems. Also in this episode Paige and Henry get engaged. I like the Henry character... but it seems like they are rushing it a bit. Of course that is understandable since they knew this would be the last season... and only had so much time to tie everything up.

16. Engaged And Confused
Paige and Henry's cold fee put their engagement in jeopardy.  Meanwhile, a demon kidnaps Christy in order to lure The Charmed Ones into attacking the Triad and prevent them from taking over the Underworld.

My Thoughts:
A Really good episode... Christy gets taken again... but not for long this time. Plus we find out more about what the Triad is up to. Unfortunately you can feel the show coming to an end... all the loose ends being tied up a little more with each episode.
