My Thoughts: At first I thought it a little strange to see Patrick Stewart as Scrooge. He seems a little young for the role. But he has ten years in a one-man Christmas Carol show under his belt and he did a good job. That he can do crumpy, I always believed. Look at his early interpretation of Captain Picard.Compared to the other adaptions I have seen, Scrooge seemed a little restrained at the end when loosened up. Rating: (From Tom's Random Reviews on December 26th, 2011) Damien: Omen II, a review by addicted2dvdDamien: Omen II Since the sudden and highly suspicious death of his parents, 12-year-old Damien has been in the charge of his wealthy aunt and uncle (Lee Grant and William Holden). Widely feared to be the Antichrist, Damien relentlessly plots to seize control of his uncle's business empire -- and the world. Meanwhile, anyone attempting to unravel the secrets of Damien's sinister past or fiendish future meets with a swift and cruel demise. In this chilling sequel to 'The Omen', the forces of good and evil battle each other to a taut and terrifying end. My Thoughts: I enjoyed this sequel... was a good one... but do prefer the original movie to it. It was pretty interesting to see him in his teen years. And it did have a couple pretty cool death scenes. I have The Omen Collection boxset that includes all 4 movies. I have heard many times that parts 3 and 4 are worthless... but think I will find out today and finish off the boxset. Forgiving Original Air Date: 4/15/2002 As Fred, Gunn and Lorne try to figure out why Wesley would steal Connor, Angel tries to find a way to follow Holtz into the Quor-toth dimension and bring his son back home. Guest Stars: John Rubinstein Laurel Holloman Stephanie Romanov Jack Conley My Thoughts: I enjoyed this one as well. Wesley has a long road ahead of him to get Angel to forgive him and trust him again. At this point the only thing Angel wants is to see Wesley dead. I can understand it too... why didn't Wesley go to the team... a team he considered family... with the information he had and try to figure things out that way? It would have saved a whole lot of grief. My Rating: (From Angel Marathon on March 14th, 2010) |
