Synopsis: It's 1987 and Jenna has her 13th birthday. But it ends in disaster and she wishes nothing more than to be 30. And then her wish gets granted. When she awakes it's 2004 and she's Jennifer Garner and editor of the glamour magazine "Poise". But she's still 13 and she finds herself in a world where everything is different and - most importantly - where she's different.

My Opinion: Jennifer Garner is a great 13-year-old. It's funny to watch her react to things like a small girl would react. I also liked the fact that it turned out to be her that sold the front cover topics to their competitor and not Tom-Tom/Lucy because that would have been too obvious. What I didn't care much about was Mark Ruffalo, I have nothing against the actor, I just don't care about him in any of his movies.

Day of the Dead, a review by addicted2dvd

Day of the Dead
The "walking dead" have taken over the world. Only a small band of scientists and soldiers are definitely known to remain, and they have taken refuge in an underground missile silo. The only hope for survival of the human race hinges on discovering a way to either control the walking dead or get them back into their graves for good.

Grotesque research experiments are being conducted by Dr. Logan, a borderline mad scientist, appropriately nicknamed Dr. Frankenstein by his associates. His most promising prospect for controlling the hordes of walking dead is one "guinea pig" zombie who seems to have a trace of humanity left in him.

But the military leader soon discovers that some of his soldiers have been used as substitute guinea pigs in zombie experiments, and he retaliates by locking up the remaining scientific team with the zombies.

Now, the remaining human survivors engage in a horrific last ditch battle for life with thousands of the walking dead. The result is the darkest day of horror the world has ever known...

My Thoughts:
I always liked the Romero zombie movies. And this is one of my favorites. The gore is really up there in this movie. Between the zombies tearing and and eating flesh and some of the scenes such as the doctor's experiments on the zombies and a dream sequence here and there the gore is plentiful and well done. I will say that there is some characters I dislike in this movie. But I think that is usually true of most movies. I would also say that some of the acting is a bit over the top.  But if you can get past that you are in for a gory walking dead treat.

"Stargate SG-1" Marathon, a review by DJ Doena

Synopsis: SG-1 takes part in the ceremony where the last Ba'al clone gets his symbiont removed. The last of the System Lords is defeated. But something is happening. First Vala disappears, then Teal'c and then more and more people. Cameron, Sam and Daniel manage to get through the Stargate home but when they arrive on Earth everything has changed. The gate is somewhere in the arctic and Earth's history of the last 60 years seems to have changed. Another Ba'al clone has changed the past to win in the future.

My Opinion: The elements of this story aren't new, not even to Stargate SG-1. A time travel after which the Stargate program doesn't exist also happened in Moebius. And the way the "ripple effect" changed the future didn't make much sense either. But I still liked this movie, it was nice to see them all again (Don S. Davis in his last appearance) and I liked how Daniel tried to speak to Daniel and how they once again joined forces with the First Prime Teal'c. Also this movie didn't have any lengths, it felt like a slightly longer regular episode even though it was twice as long.
