Just finished watching Disturbia.

Very good movie.  I was hook within the first few minutes
Although it's a bit of a teen movie, it's still very well thought and well done, not like your typical teen stuff where you can see things coming 5 minutes in advance and watch them happen with no surprise.

Overall a very good movie, I don't regret breaking my 10$ rules on this one.

Gonna make pop-corn and watch Fracture now.

Plot:

Silly romantic comedy with Marisa Tomei and Robert Downey Jr.

The highlights... Marisa Tomei is deliciously gorgeous in this early role of hers, more so than in any other movie I have seen her in. Bonnie Hunt plays her best friend and I've always liked her and her ability to deliver witty quips and biting retorts. The backdrops, Rome, Venice and the beautiful rolling countrysides of Italy are amazing and I'd love to visit there some day.

The lows... Marisa Tomei's silly performance counters her beauty as she is flippant, ditzy and ultimately annoying. Fisher Stevens inclusion in any film automatically tarnishes it to a a certain degree and lastly, while I don't mind romantic comedies this one was just way too sappy for me.

Won't be revisiting this one again any time soon...

Knight Rider 2008 Pilot Movie
When it's reclusive inventor is placed in imminent danger, K.I.T.T. revs into action to save him. But even though his super high-tech car is able to self-regenerate, deploy weapons, and change color and shape, it needs a reluctant ex-soldier named Mike Traceur to shift gears and help in the desperate mission.

My Thoughts:
OK... I know the popular view of this series is that it is no where near the series that the '80s version was. But you know... I have liked this one since the very first time I have seen it. Not only that... but the more I watch it (this is the 3rd time I have seen the pilot movie now) the more I enjoy it! That is not to take anything away from the original version. It is awesome too. But I really enjoyed the upgraded features of K.I.T.T. and I liked the characters as well as the storyline. After watching this pilot movie today... I feel like I could watch the entire series again.
