A film noir classic featuring Edmond O'Brien as the doomed victem, who having been mysteriously poisoned, must retrace all his steps from the last twenty-four hours to find his killers - before time runs out! Told in flashback style, the suspense is palpable throughout and builds to a rousing climax, even though O'Brien's fate is essentially sealed from the outset.

My Thoughts:
This is a very good movie. I liked the storyline a lot. The entire cast was good. One thing did bother me a bit though. It was in the beginning of the movie. Multiple times within the first 15 minutes of the movie whenever he looked at another pretty girl you would hear the sound effect of a slide whistle. That took away from the movie for me. Thankfully it was only in the first 15 minutes of the movie. I just felt it wasn't needed... especially for the kind of story that this one is. I mean it would have been different if this was some sort of slapstick comedy or something. Just didn't work for this type of movie. But over-all this is one movie I would definitely recommend.

My Thoughts:
I picked this one today for Catherine Zeta-Jones' 41st birthday... hmmmm... 41... my age.... I wonder.... Nah... never happen!

Before it was given to me I never even heard of this title before. I watched the trailer before the movie and it looked like it could be good. After watching it I discovered it was ok... I mean I enjoyed it... but it wasn't as good as I was expecting. I found I really didn't care for the characters enough to really get involved in the story. Found myself watching the clock as I watched this one. But it had it's moments of entertainment.

I must say... I get a kick out of all these overviews for Romantic Comedies... all saying they are hilarious. When I think of Romantic Comedies I really don't think of something that will be overly funny. More of entertaining and heartwarming. I seldomly find Romantic Comedies as laugh out loud funny.

Tom's Random Star Trek Reviews, a review by Tom

I just noticed that I forgot to view the last Q episode ever: "Q2"
Probably the reason that I forgot to watch it is, that I have recently watched sfdebris' review of it, and I got the feeling that I watched the whole episode now.
