Cheerleader Camp, a review by addicted2dvd

Title: Cheerleader Camp
Movie Count: 14
TV Ep Count: 2
Time Started: 10:30am
Plot:
Welcome to Camp Hurrah, where a psycho killer is slaughtering high school cheerleaders on the eve of the all-state finals. Drive-in goddesses 'Betsy Russell' (PRIVATE SCHOOL, AVENGING ANGEL) and 'Lucinda Dickey' (BREAKIN' 2: ELECTRIC BOOGALOO) star with former teen idol 'Leif Garrett' in this bouncing, bleeding bonanza of B-movie goodness featuring graphic violence, gratuitous nudity, bad rapping and more from the glory days of late '80s splatter. This is CHEERLEADER CAMP!

Playboy centerfold 'Rebecca Ferratti', Penthouse Pet 'Krista Pflanza' and Playboy centerfold-turned-hardcore-porn queen 'Teri Weigel' co-star in this slasher fan favorite also known as BLOODY POM POMS. CHEERLEADER CAMP has been newly transferred from the original negative and is now presented completely uncut and uncensored!

My Thoughts:
I was definitely NOT impressed. This is pure low-budget cheese... which is ok sometimes... but with this one I found myself struggling to stay awake through the entire movie.  I really didn't feel like I cared for any of the characters. But I will say there was a decent kill or 2 in the movie... so it isn't like it was all bad... just mostly bad... yes I have seen worse... but not many! Oh well... can't win 'em all.

My Thoughts:
This is a movie I haven't seen since I bought it back in 2003. So I remembered nothing going into this one today. This one co-stars Sarah Wynter who played Kate Warner on 24. While the story has a good premise... I just had a hard time keeping interest in this movie.I found I wasn't caring to much about the characters. The story was a bit slow for my taste. While the story does have it's moments... I can see why this is the first time I pulled this disc out in 8 years.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

Emma's Sonic Underground Marathon, a review by Emma (snowcat)

Disc 3

Episode 11 - The Last Resort

The siblings come across an resort "untouched by Dr Robotnik" lead by Stripes. Although the siblings soon find out things are not what they seem.

So this episode pretty much focuses on the siblings being tricked, stripes is a creepy sleaze ball and I don't understand why they don't see through him. Strangely Stripe does seem to care for Sonya as he lies to Robotnik just telling him Sonic and Manic are there. Although as usual the hedgehogs teach Stripe that the resistance is the best way to cope with Robonik not creating deals with him.

....Disc the rest of Disc 3 to come (will update this)
