In a small coastal village, young and naive Bess marries an oil rig worker despite a strict community's opposition. It is a marriage of spiritual and sexual bliss until an accident severely paralyzes him. Out of open-eyes self-sacrifice and love, she ignores her own safety in the hope that a miracle will bring her husband back to her.

Filmed like a low-budget documentary, a naive young woman who believed her desire to reunite with her offshore oilrigging husband caused the accident that paralysed him. She repents by submitting to his wish that she sleep with other men. The more she degrades herself, the healthier he becomes. Emily Watson is brilliant (clothed and naked), but the movie itself, whilst being gritty and original, was not to my taste, so I could only give it a 4.

With tons of action, eye-popping special effects and nonstop laughs, here's a hilarious martial arts comedy about a team of misfits who take their best shot at winning a championship! Sing is a skilled Shaolin kung fu devotee whose amazing "leg of steel" catches the eye of a soccer coach! Together they assemble a squad of Sing's former Shaolin brothers inspired by the big-money prize in a national soccer competition! Using an unlikely mix of martial arts and newfound soccer skills, it seems an unbeatable combination...until they must face the dreaded Team Evil in the ultimate battle for the title!

Possibly tongue in cheek, some fantastic effects and stunts although oddly timed, this film is so bad I wondered if it was intentionally so? The dubbing was hilarious, clearly English speakers putting on Chinese accents, and the film seemed to miss huge chunks of storyline.
It is an awful mess - but at times hilariously so, and I must admit rolling up several times at it's ineptness.
If you like watching a train wreck on celluloid, get this if it's free!

ENT 4.18 In A Mirror, Darkly

In the fourth season of Enterprise they finally understood what potential making a prequel series has.
This episode completely plays out in the mirror universe. We see the mirror universe twist of the first contact of Cochrane with the vulcans (with footage from the movie ST: First Contact). And we see the mirror universe version of Archer's crew which is similar badass as Kirk's mirror universe crew. And a great idea to combine the story about the missing Defiant from the "Tholian Web" episode of the original series with the mirror universe. They even changed the opening credits for this two-parter.
