As he becomes aware of evil and sinister forces at work in the institution, he also becomes aware that he suffers from acrophobia, making him almost nervous as the patients he treats. My Thoughts:

While I did enjoy this one... I don't think I was really in the right mood to get full enjoyment from it. I just wasn't in a silly and fun mood. I watched it in hopes of it pulling me out of a bit of a depression. Which didn't seem to work. I do like how they spoof the Hitchcock films here. Unfortunately there is many Hitchcock films I never seen so sure I didn't get all the references... but I seen enough of them to get a lot. Enough to enjoy the movie for what it is meant to be.I would say it is definitely worth the time put in to watch it. And think I would probably enjoy it even more when in the right mood to watch it.

Corpse Bride, a review by Danae Cassandra

Corpse Bride
Year of Release: 2005
Directed By: Mike Johnson, Tim Burton
Starring: Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Emily Watson
Genre: Romance, Horror, Animation

Overview:Tim Burton's Corpse Bride carries on in the dark, romantic tradition of his classic Edward Scissorhands and Tim Burton's The Nightmare Before ChristmasMy Thoughts:
This is a seasonal favorite of ours; we try to watch it every year. It's such a practically perfect Halloween film. The atmosphere is superbly gothic, creepy, otherworldly. This is done with every detail - the character design, the choice of color palette, and, of course, the music. Both the score and the songs really work to enhance the atmosphere.

I really feel this is one of Tim Burton's best works, and I'd recommend it to just about anyone. It's a great family film for the Halloween season; appropriate for all but the smallest children. Skip this only if you have some serious dislike for Burton's signature style.

Watched For: Scavenger Hunt #18, Hoop-tober 3.0

Bechdel Test: Fail
Mako Mori Test: Fail

Overall: 4/5

Smallville Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

Season 4: Disc 3:

9. Bound
After Lex is accused of killing a young woman, Clark sets out to prove his innocence and turns to an unlikely source for help - Lionel.

My Thoughts:
This one is pretty good. the thing I really liked about this one is it has a decent mystery story to it.

10. Scare
Lex's secret experiment at Luthorcorp goes awry and causes a dangerous toxin to be released into Smallville. Those infected by the toxin, including Clark , Lana, Lex, and Jason imagine their greatest fears come true and then fall into a coma.

My Thoughts:
This was a little strange but awesome episode! Of course dealing with nightmares you got to expect it to be a little on the strange side. Definitely enjoyed every second of it. You also learn what happen with Chloe's mom in this episode.

11. Unsafe
Claiming to be cured, Alicia is released from Belle Reve hospital and comes to Smallville to rekindle her relationship with Clark.

My Thoughts:
A decent episode... but not one of my favorites. again... I never cared for the character of Alicia... and this time she slips him some Red Kryptonite

12. Pariah
Lana and Jason are attacked and almost killed by an unseen assailant and Alicia seems to be the prime suspect.

My Thoughts:
This one I liked... but mainly for the fact that Chloe learns Clark's secret. One thing I liked about how Chloe found out is the fact that she went on letting him think she didn't know. It made for some fun situations and comments and such.
