The Omega Man, a review by addicted2dvd
Stars: Charlton Heston as Neville Anthony Zerbe as Matthias Rosalind Cash as Lisa Paul Koslo as Dutch Eric Laneuville as Richie Plot:Extras:
My Thoughts: An enjoyable movie...though I did find it a little slow in parts. The entire cast did well... especially Charlton Heston was great. I can definitely see myself watching it again. Rating: (From Within My Lifetime: 2017 Edition on May 16th, 2017) Blacula, a review by addicted2dvd
Stars: William Marshall as Blacula Vonetta McGee as Tina Denise Nicholas as Michelle Thalmus Rasulala as Gordon Thomas Gordon Pinset as Lt. Peters Plot: In 1780, African Prince Mamuwalde (Marshall) pays a visit to Count Dracula in Transylvania, seeking his support in ending slave trade. Instead, the evil count curses his noble guest and transforms him into a vampire! Released from his coffin nearly two centuries later by a pair of luckless interior decorators, Mamuwalde emerges as "Blacula," on strange dude strollin' the streets of L.A. on a nightly quest for human blood! Extras:
My Thoughts: While I have heard of the Blacula films I never seen either of them till today. The first thing I notice is that the fangs on several of the vampires were huge. A movie like this you can't take too seriously. And you must remember the times it was made. But over all a fun film that I enjoyed. There was some comedy in it, the hat as Tom pointed out I also got a chuckle at the vacuum and the TV Fraser borrowed, both were broken and HE had to fix them before he returned them But it is for the most part all Drama. I thought Ray acted kinda crappy when he came to Fraser's house to get the money, it did give them a chance for Fraser to leave the appartment (click to show/hide) The story is pretty predictible but still enjoyable. Great ending. The next episode is beginning right now Rating: (From "Due South" marathon on July 28th, 2009) |
