Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow, a review by addicted2comics

Next Avengers: Heroes of Tomorrow

The Plot: The children of the Avengers hone their powers and go head to head with the very enemy responsible for their parents' demise.

My Thoughts: This is a movie I always enjoy watching. The humor in it is hilarious, and its so cute watching heroes fight in an age starting at eight! Or maybe Pym was six? Idk, one of the two. One thing that bugs me is they never told us who azari's mother was, though it was specific he was the son of the Black Panther. After some digging I found his mother would be Storm, but they probably didn't cover that so they can keep it an Avengers movie without having to dig into the X-Men, so that's completely understandable. The action is awesome, its so cool how they brought the Hulk back, and I loved how they ended it just like their parents. "Avengers, ASSEMBLE!!!" This is a definite 5 out of 5.

The Proposal, a review by Dragonfire

I went to see The Proposal a few weeks ago.  The movie is a bit predictable and silly at times, but I enjoyed it.

Margaret is a dragon lady at work and most of the other people in her area can't stand her.  Her assistant Andrew does everything he can to keep her happy, hoping for a promotion.  Margaret is from Canada, and she has a problem with her visa and it facing deportation.  She comes up with an idea to stay in the country and she tells her boss that she and Andrew are engaged.  He's shocked, but agrees to go along with the plan if he will finally get his promotion.  Things aren't going well though since the man from immigration decides that they are lying.  Margaret and Andrew head to his family's home in Alaska for his grandmother's birthday in an attempt to appear like a more believable couple.

I think the movie is considered a romantic comedy, but there really isn't a lot of romance to what is going on.  I think it is more of a comedy with just a touch of romance.  Some of the situations are silly, but they are funny.  The plot isn't that complex and certain things are rather predictable, but there are one or two small surprises as well.  The characters are really good, especially Grandma Annie.  Betty White is wonderful in the part.  I also really liked Ryan Reynolds and Sandra Bullock in their parts.

The movie won't appeal to everyone, but I think it is fun and entertaining.  Fans of the cast, especially Sandra Bullock, should give it a chance.

I did get a review posted at Epinions.

Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman Marathon, a review by addicted2dvd

17. SECONDS
Lex's dark plot to win Lois could mean Eternal amnesia for her... and disaster for the citizens of Metropolis.

My Thoughts:
This one is definitely better then the last one. I still don't care for this story line but it is improving.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

18. FORGET ME NOT
Hoping to regain her memory, Lois enters a clinic where patients die at on alarmingly rapid rate.

My Thoughts:
This one I liked a little more the the previous few. I like where it is going with the amnesia story. At least the way they are getting between Lois and Clark now makes sense... somewhat.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

19 OEDIPUS WRECKS
Back to work... and back to square one. As work partners only, Lois and Clark track down a mind-altering machine.

My Thoughts:
This is the last episode of the amnesia storyline... while not bad storyline I am glad it is over.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

20. IT'S A SMALL WORLD AFTER ALL
High school reeked - at least for one of Lois's old classmates, who hatches a diabolical plan for revenge.

My Thoughts:
This one is a silly but fun episode. I had to laugh when a shrunken Superman compared himself to Mighty Mouse. That is a cartoon I haven't thought of in many years!

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

21. THROUGH A GLASS, DARKLY
The Krypton connection. Alien vistors with a secret objective create chaos for superman.

My Thoughts:
This is the first part of a 2 part seasons finale. And this is much... much better. Even though I was disappointed in this season for the most part... at least lit is ending on a very high note. This episode has a guest star of Justine Bateman... who played Malory on Family Ties.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

22. BIG GIRLS DON'T FLY
Destiny. Krypton is in peril, but to save his home planet Superman must forsake friends, family - and Lois.

My Thoughts:
I really enjoyed the two-part season finale this season. Matter of fact after watching these I remembered when they originally aired it was this 2-part episode that gave me hope for season 4... as I felt the show went down hill so bad this season.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5

My Season 3 Thoughts:
While this season still had some decent episodes... for the most part I was disappointed. Too many storylines that I just didn't care for. But towards the end of the season it really picked back up and once again became the series that I knew and loved.

My Rating:
Out of a Possible 5
