So, I bought a box with 14 Danish films with only Danish dialog and I don't speak Danish! :tv:  :bag:
Although written Danish and written Swedish are fairly similar (somewhat like Spanish and Portugese, I imagine) spoken Danish is nothing like Swedish! Fortunately these are all subtitled in Danish, for the hearing impaired. So hopefully I haven't made a huge mistake, having to spend 23 1/2 hours going "what the hell are they saying" ...  ???

Lewis, Phil Karlson, Richard Quine, Pauld Wendkos and Robert Parrish, who demonstrate why they were masters at creating tough, lean and morally ambiguous crime thrillers. Blown Away
UPC 738329-170622 | United States 1994 | 121 minutes | Kino Lorber, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment

The fuse has been lit! Screen legends Jeff Bridges (Thunderbolt and Lightfoot) and Tommy Lee Jones (The Package) light a fuse under this action-packed tension-filled, ege-of-the-seat thriller that will hold you hostage for 120 electrifying minutes. Fueled with dynamic support by Lloyd Bridges (Hot Shots), Forest Whitaker (Species) and Suzy Amis (The Usual Suspects), Blown Away is the action film you don't want to miss... when an explosion jolts Boston, bomb squad expert Jimmy Dove (Bridges) is thrust into the most harrowing work of his career. Evidence points to a bomber more dangerous and skilled than any he's ever faced - except one. The possibility that the terrorist is his former mentor (Jones) increases the stakes - and as his friends and family are unsuspectingly drawn into the action, Jimmy is forced to face not only his bitter enemy... but also his haunting past. Stylish and suspenseful direction by Stephen Hopkins, the director of The Ghost and the Darkness and Predator 2.

The Satan Bug
UPC 738329-175429 | United States 1965 | 114 minutes | Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios, Kino Lorber

The Message is dear: put an end to war research... or prepare for the end of the Earth. Officials have no doubt about the madman's ability to carry out his threat; they know he has access to The Satan Bug. George Maharis, Dana Andrews and Anne Frances face the terror of a death germ in this race-against-time thriller directed by the great John Sturges (Bad Day at Black Bock, The Great Escape). The Suspense begins at a top-secret U.S. germ warfare laboratory when containers of lethal microbe are stolen and soon after the group behind the theft proves its deadly resolve by using the weapon to completely annihilate the residents of a small town Florida community. The next target: Los Angeles... unless government agent Maharis and an elite task force can somehow prevent the City of Angels from becoming Hell on Earth. A desperate manhunt is on... the survival of the planet is at stake and the biological doomsday clock is ticking in this superior tale of organized terrorism and split-second heroics. The stellar cast includes Richard Basehart, Frank Sutton, Ed Asner, Simon Oakland and John Anderson.

What's up, Doc?
UPC 883929-115877 | United States 1972 | 94 minutes | Warner Home Video

What's up, Doc? joyously recaptures the bubbly style of 1930's screwball comedies - and firmly establishes Barbara Streisand and Ryan O'Neal as a romantic duo uniquely endearing in screen history. Included are daffy luggage mixup plot, dippy dialogue exchanges, a marvelous example of the art of hotel-room demolition and one of the funniest chase sequences ever, all over San Francisco. Dexterously written with a surefooted sense of the ridiculous by Buck Henry, David Newman and Robert Benton, directed by Peter Bogdanovic with giddy affection and cast with awesomely hilarious players (including film-debuting Madeline Kahn), What's up, Doc? is no idle question. Among comedy movies, it's the top.
