Does my dream mean I must now have a Veronica Mars Marathon

Yes!... You must have a Vernica Mars Marathon now!
Don't be stupid... it was just a dream... You idiot!

Anyone got 30 Rock for a marathon? I've got season 1 on the way. 9.99 at HMV if you fancy joining me... 8)

I have yet failed to watch a single episode of "Veronica Mars". I don't think it's my kind of show.
I take that back, I've watched a few episodes and found it to be interesting.

But I wonder: Aren't there any UK season boxes of that show? I couldn't find any on Ama UK.

Today I had some kind of VM marathon, I watched the last five (out of six) discs of the first season.

It's a good show, but I found it basically impossible to solve any of the cases before V did because though they showed all the pieces of the puzzle their importance was only made clear when V explained it.

Second season is already ordered.

To be honest, I found the second season a bit too complicated. Too many characters and many of them blonde females. I haven't got a good memory for faces and I ultemately couldn't keep them apart anymore. Sometimes I sat there, wondering "Who's that again?".

And then there were too many entangled plots. After the season was over I still hadn't understood how exactly Charisma Carpenter's character was involved in all this (e.g. her relationship to the Fitzpatricks).

A "Previously on VM" could have helped, especially when they re-introduced characters after 10, 15 episodes.

But the third season is still a must-have simply because I want to know how it goes on with Weevil.

Yesterday evening I started to watch the third season and I just finished. I have to say I really liked it and am sorry now that there aren't at least one or two more years. By keeping the mysteries shorter I could better grasp the details and the faces, too.

It had great characters in it, even the "dumb" ones. I didn't quite get the first episode because I forgot the details of the second season and didn't know why Kendall was hiding, but since it was "ended" in the first episode I didn't really bother.

I am usually not in the crime stuff (anymore) - I pass on the entire CSI-Law&Order-Bones-Crossing-Jordan thing - but I have to say I really liked that show.

Thirded.

Well I would third it, except I haven't seen the third season yet... but it has a nice quirky edge to it that other procedurals miss. It has Stephen Fry in it occasionally for goodness sake!

I know this thread is older and hasn't been posted in for almost a year.  However, I am currently watching the first season and loving it.  Even though I didn't act on it at the time, I remember how much several of you here liked the show.  Added to that are the positive reviews I read on the the DVD sets at Epinions, and I started thinking more about getting the show.  I tracked down a place to watch the episodes online and watched the first 4 that way..loved it, so I started watching prices.  I got all three seasons when I found them for $19 each.

I did go most of the week without watching more after I got through the first 2 discs - I watched the first 4 episodes again.  Then last night I watched 8 more - I couldn't sleep - and so far today I've watched another 4.  I have 2 episodes left which I'm going to go watch here in just a little bit.
I'm anxious to find out who killed Lilly and if Veronica's mom comes home.
I kind of regret that I didn't find this show when it was on originally...though by watching it this way, I don't have to wait as long to find out the resolutions.  I'm also feeling irked that there are only 3 seasons total.  The show is way to good to have been canceled so soon.

Anyway, I just wanted to share that all you Veronica fans helped to convince me to get the series.  It may take me a while sometimes, but I do listen. ;)

I have the first three seasons of 30 Rock and would be keen for a marathon.

This is another show I could watch again! With the way season 1 ends... I bet it won't take you too long to start season 2!

Glad you are enjoying it so much... while I found the quality of the series to go down a little with each season... all 3 seasons are still well worth watching... and yes... I was aggravated also that it only lasted 3 seasons.

I found the third season by far better than the second season.

I find season 1 AWESOME, season 2 is great, season 3 is just ok in my opinion.

We just finished season 1 here at work and are working on season 2.  Every Tuesday & Thursday we watch a TV show here.  Having finally wrapped up Supernatural, we've moved on to this.  It was fun since I'd not seen it in ages. ;D

I'm also watching season 3 at home.  Mainly because when it aired, we only saw the first two mini-mysteries and never finished the season.  And I prefer to watch things by myself before trying to watch with the knuckleheads at work.  It's fun in a group setting, but sometimes it's too much fun.  So I want to see the story ahead of time.

Basically what I thought... but with slight correction

Season 1 = Awesome
Season 2 = Great
Season 3 = Very Good

It is a shame they didn't go with the season 4 idea... I liked the preview that is in the extras.
