The local park. The Frank E. Simon Memorial Park

A distant shot of a lake with some of the rolling hills behind it. Wanted to get closer... but looked like the lake was on private property.

Some distant rolling hills.

A shot of the river from the trail.

Closer up shot of the river.

Something about these trees caught my eye.

A shot of the trail I was walking with river in background.

A tractor jungle jim for the kids to play on in the playground.

A tribute to our soldiers.

Just as I was leaving the park they were letting the horses out.

A different looking cannon placed in the park. Didn't notice a sign for it.

In the park there is a gated off Pioneer Cemetery.

Another shot of the cemetery.

Headed towards town.

Why did the chicken cross the road? :P

In town taken from the bridge crossing the river.

here is where I been spending lots of time lately... the Walgreens I am working at.

From there I headed back home.... that was my walk for the day. :)

I'd be interested too.

While we only see the face of the new you, I remember a previous profile picture of yours where you were quite substantially more round-faced than now. You have lost a lot of weight and in general I have the feeling that the move and the job have done a lot of good to you.

I'm curious to see the photos.  On the other hand, I kind of like the anticipation of waiting.  I'm the same at Christmas.  Absolutely love it until it's time to open gifts.  It's the build-up I enjoy.  When it's time to open, I know it's almost over for another year.  Silly me.

Not sure if I should send them to you or not now... I confused!  :stars: :tease:

Just from the small pics you've posted here it looks like you have lost a decent amount.

The park probably looks really pretty when the leaves change.  And in the spring, if any of them are flowering trees..that would be very pretty.

Well, I got the message last night.  I just couldn't remember my password to log in at home.  Or my user name it seems.

Britt and I are finally together again!  :yahoo:

Now that she has seen me I can publicly share the before and after pics of my weight loss.

This is what I looked like the last time I saw Britt just 7 months ago (that is of course Britt with me)...

And this is the new pic of me (taken just a few days ago)...

Keep in mind that the  clothes I am wearing here is only 3 weeks old and wasn't baggy on me at the time I got them. :P

When Britt saw me she gave me a great big hug... and the little smart alack comes out with.. Ohhhh look I can reach all the way around you! LOL :P

For those of you not on Facebook... I posted this last night...

I haven't been on a scale for a long time. The last time I was on the scale I was at about 350 pounds. Well tonight at the get together Gen found a scale and called me in to weigh me. I was hoping I would at least be out of the 300s... and I am happy to say that I am! As of tonight I weigh 272 pounds! I know I still have a way to go.. but what can I say.... I am thrilled!
