Marathon idea?

Could someone enlighten me to exactly what these marathon ideas are that you guys are doing? Just watching a certain number of movies per month with the same theme or what?

Basically that's it, yes. At the begin of the year we had an unwatched marathon where everyone watched unwatched stuff.

Then there are time travel marathons, horror marathons and of course series marathons.

Marathons are a way to encourage us to actually watch our DVDs!

I'm not as good as the others but I tend to watch a few more if we are having a marathon. The best part, for me, is that I get to read reviews on movies that quite often I haven't seen. Of course that means I end up putting them on my wish list or ordering them! :laugh:
