My poor nephew

Sounds like he is doing well.  That's great.

After my mom had her gall bladder surgery - even before because she had complications going on that delayed the surgery - it took all her energy to walk to the bathroom in her room at the hospital.  After the surgery, she walked some in the halls too.  Very slowly and not that far at first...then she got to where she could go farther.

Happy days! Jimmy will be going home tomorrow and will only need antibiotic pills.

Woo hoo.  That's great.

Jimmy has been discharged! He will miss school this week and will need to be careful for the next 3 weeks but he's pain free and on his way home.

His Aunt Kathy though, after 4 16 hour night shifts, is exhausted and going to bed.
