Birthday Torture Already!?!

My birthday isn't till May 31st and I have a friend that already started to torture me about gifts. She has been relentless today! Oh it is going to be a long next couple months!

This birthday isn't going to be that much of a fun one anyway. The other day Brittany gave me some bad news. She said her senior trip has been planned. They leave at 6am and don't get home till 1:30am that night. And what day does it land on? Of Course... on May 31st. This will be the first birthday I spend without Brittany since she was born. So that is going to be a bit on the sad side for me.

Brittany, please know that I am thrilled you are getting to go on your trip. And I in no way what so ever want you to stay home on account of me. I really want you to go... and I really want you to have a fantastic time. You deserve it! Don't worry about me. I am sure I will get used to the idea between now and then!

Brittany has been feeling quite a bit guilty about this. Been considering not even going on her senior trip. So this morning I told her we can celebrate my birthday a day early if she would like. This made her feel better. Now she don't feel bad about going on her school trip.
