Note, this is the 5 disc set. There is an 8-disc set also with more extras (£19.99) but from what I could find out the vast majority of those extras are on the DVD releases which I  already own, so I went with the 5-discer.

I bought the 8-disc release for £25 last year. Does the 5-disc release contain the Donner cut of "Superman II"? That one is a must-have. Also the extended cut of "Superman I" has some nice new scenes. These two and the "Look, Up in the Sky! The Amazing Story of Superman" disc I guess are the difference between the two sets.

Crap. It's missing more than I thought. Trust me, someone who has worked at dvdcompare for 10 years, to forget to check at dvdcompare.

Shipped already so too late to cancel, however it was almost all paid for with a GC (so cost me £2.49). Could be worse and I'll set a pricewatch for the 8-disc set.
