The ligaments get damaged in the separated one and need to be surgically repaired since they can't heal without it.

In my non-opinion health specialist comprehension - Dislocation means the shoulder if out of its socket but there's no actual "damage" - Seperation means there is damage to the ligament that may or may not need surgery to repair.

Edit: Oops! Hadn't seen Kathy's reply .. sorry!

Thanks for the info... I really had no idea. I haven't heard anything from him since he first told us. So not sure if he had the surgery or if they are about to do it... or if they are putting it off for a few days or what. When my older brother gets up I will have to see if he heard anything more.

It should just say "it's an boo boo that a kiss from mommy won't fix".

Now you understand how I feel when the discussion turns to tech stuff.  :stars:

I don't understand all the technical stuff either.  I use to know a little more, but I haven't kept up with it.  Heck, I'm still figuring out Windows 7 stuff.
