as lovemonkey says - it's beyond me also   :stars:

In your case the problem is with your "images" folder which is actually called "Images".  The image isn't found because of the uppercase "I".

definitely beyond me as well... as I can't even get the regular "What ya Got" tag to work.  :bag:

to go into this a little further... I do not know what I am doing wrong for this tag... first a friend is hosting the site for me... so the address to the site is...

http://addicted2dvd.dvdaholic.me.uk/

so I tried...

[ whatyagot=addicted2dvd.dvdaholic.me.uk]707729162926[/whatyagot]

that didn't work...

so I tried...

[ whatyagot=addicted2dvd.dvdaholic.me.uk/database]707729162926[/whatyagot]

and that didn't work. So not sure what to use.  :stars:

Ok, the tag automatically appends "http://www" in front of the domain name.  I'm gonna have to change it to only put "http://" for those of you who are hosted in sub-domains like Pete.

Done.

Pete I edited your post to add the tag at the end to show that it works.  Now it may stop working for those whose host or DNS requires the www in front of your domain name.  If that's the case you'll need to put them in.  Sorry about the extra "work" if it's your case but it's the only way to make it work for sub-domains.

The tag currently uses the same window when you click on the image.  I can change it to make it show the profile in a new window (or tab if your browser is configured that way).  I added a poll to this thread about that, please vote.

Thanks... that is great! :)
I voted for a new window/tab as I use tabs with firefox and would rather it open in a new tab instead of taking us away from this site to see it. :)

For me it doesn't matter either way, because I always click on links I want to open in a new tab with the middle mouse button (i.e. click on the scroll wheel). Because of this maybe it is better to leave it as is. This way everybody has the choice.

wow... thanks for the tip... something I never noticed before... by clicking the scroll wheel it always opens in a new tab! oh well... never claimed to know it all!  :P

And for those (if any) who don't have a scroll wheel, you can click while holding down the left ctrl key on your keyboard and it opens in a new tab.....at least in firefox

This is how I always browse forums. I click all threads I want to visit with the middle mouse button and then I read those threads in their tab and close them when read.
FYI Ctrl+left mouse button does the same (should someone not have a middle mouse button). Edit: touti was quicker

Is it the Images folder in DVDprofiler - I renamed it with a lower case i but it didn't seem to make any difference  ???

You have to rename the "I/images" folder on your webspace (FTP) in phpDVDProfiler, not the one on your hard drive in DVDProfiler

Your images are stored here:
http://www.richesdvds.co.uk/phpdvdprofiler/Images/

They should be stored here:
http://www.richesdvds.co.uk/phpdvdprofiler/images/

For a unix based system "Images" is a totally different directory than "images"

but be aware that when you rename that folder you also have to edit your localsiteconfig.php
